Welcome back for another video. In this one I go over specific things that I have done to heal my insomnia, which I have struggled with since my teenage years. Sleep is vital to a healthy mind and body, as well as a positive life experience! Our body does a lot of restore and repair while we are in these slower brain waves.
I go over my herbs, night time rituals, lifestyle, and more.
With any chronic condition it is essential that we address the ROOT CAUSE, not just mask up the symptoms. I am all for healing ourselves in the most natural way possible before resorting to biomedicine interventions that could possibly cause adverse side effects.
Other tips not mentioned in this video include:
- taking an adaptogen herb everyday to help with your stress response such as reishi, holy basil, ashwagandha, rhodiola, etc.
- waking up an hour earlier
- avoid ALL screens and technology before bed… try reading instead
- getting regular relaxation massages
