I tried burning them. Didnt work either. Now urea cream 45 percent, cheap stuff. First vaseline on your skin to protect it. Then urea on your nail, bandage. They say leave it for a week but I change it every day, combined with cutting and grinding and an essential oil mix, now finally it fell off, but within 2 weeks of starting this. No pain. Fungal part just falls off. It also worked with tiger balm and a bandage, but that gave me crazy rash and swollen feet. Oh and when your skin itches use iodine. Maybe that also works instead of essential oil. Just use whatever, but the urea gets it off and then you can treat it.

Guys it worked! I struggled with toe nail fungus for almost 3 years, tried everything, from foot baths to seeing specialists (where they removed my whole nail only for the fungus to be back a few weeks later) I used the lighter method every week for 3 weeks (so 3 times in total) and now (about 2 months later) I already have half a centimeter of healthy nail growing out. Can't believe I struggled so long when the answer was so simple 😂😭 Thanks for sharing! Btw. I would kneel on the edge of my bed and bend over to the side in a weird way so I can put the lighter under my toe nail. It probably looked psychotic but it was worth it. ALSO I learned that these fungi come from your nutrition. Fix your food, fix your body!

@Druss The Legend yes! Research Candida/Candidiasis/yeast infection. There is a video from Dr. Berg on Candida I recommend giving a shot. Now when I put my nail right up to my nostrils I can smell the fungus. But when I hold a flame to it for just enough I can actually smell something like burnt hair or similar. I have a far safer method that got rid of my stubborn toenail fungus (also with just one treatment). Step 1: Acquire a magnifying glass and wait for a sunny day. Step 2: Soak your nail in warm water until the nail is thoroughly soaked and soft (or do it straight out of a shower). Step 3: Working a 3mm square area at a time, slowly focus the lens onto your nail until you can feel the temperature reach the 'ouch' level (or you can see steam rising from nail) and do this 3x-4x times over the area. Step 4: Move to next area and repeat Step 3. This one treatment cured my infection in just a few minutes and within a few months a new healthy nail grew out.

Had nail fungus on my big toes for years, tired all sorts- never worked. Recently discovered, grinding the nail down, brush every day with a tooth brush, castle soap, dry for 5 mins with hair dryer, get as much sun on the nail as possible and use Iodine daily. I noticed a huge difference. Slow process but definitely working. Fungus like to live in dark dirty, wet conditions.

I'm in the same boat. I've had a mild toenail infection on my right foot for about 5 years now. I've never really taken it too seriously but decided the past year to try and attack it. Sometimes I fall off the bandwagonBut typically what I like to do is take lugols iodine and I saturate all my toenails and the surrounding area. I still have it because I haven't been consistent enough but the most progress I've gotten has been with iodine. I now have a red light/infrared light device and I think that will help because this light spectrum also kills fungus.
@jimreadey4837
@jimreadey4837 2 года назад
Hi Deb. I just discovered the grinding advice, too, and started 2-3 wks. ago. Had been doing the povidone-iodine daily for about a month before that, and hadn't seen any results. The grinding makes so much sense, and it feels good to know I've actively, and quickly, removed a fair portion of the fungus already. (Am using a Dremmel for that.) I'm doing everything else you mentioned, except the *castile* soap. I now try not to get my feet wet, because 5 mins. of hair drying seems like an eternity -- mostly because a part of my brain isn't convinced of the need for doing it that long. I wonder what you mean when you say the process is "definitely working." My growing understanding is that the nail we see today is not going to heal. It's more that, if we're successful, the fungus will become inactive/inert, thus not spread to the new nail growth. So, we're basically waiting for the new healthy nail to grow in (while we keep clipping away the old, inert-fungal portions). About a 12-18 month process, I've heard.

I'm filing the surface down slightly of both big toenails that have some fungus marks in them ( not big ones) Next I'm putting on bleach that will for sure kill the fungus. I've used bleach on shower stall, and it completely kills all mould and fungi ( total kill) I saw some people having great success on video here, so I decided to give the bleach a shot. Just into my second day, and about 70 % of the fungus and marks on my toenails are gone. Just have it on the big toes. I believe in 5 -7 days, it will be gone "forever" I put it on for only 5 - 6 minutes, then I wash it off with soap and water. I've even seen doctors using this and having great success. I think Bleach is the way to go. You need to kill the spores. This man here has a very creative way of doing this, and I admire his innovation and coming up with his own idea. Seems it worked for him. I would think the flame from the lighter would melt the nail tho ?? so you'd have to be careful.

My doctor just gave me some topical stuff a few weeks ago to paint on my infected toe that I have been dealing with for years. I don't see any difference at all. Then I just came across a doctor on you tube and he mentioned that the sun does help - fungus prefers wet and dark areas so this doctor said sit outside in the sun for 5 minutes each day with your toes exposed until the fungus goes away. So some doctors do mention this but my doctor did not. I found you have to be pro active about your own health care. Good luck, I'm going to try this so I hope it will work. Also, the doctor on youtube said to keep your infected toes clean by using a used tooth brush and soap in the shower to clean the old fungus off the toenail each day. Be sure and let your toes dry after the shower thoroughly or use a hair dryer. Remember fungus likes to be wet.

I also thought about what conditions fungus cant thrive in when i had mild toe nail fungus growth under the nail. Turns out low pH conditions like acidic condition is unfavorable for yeast fungal cells. So i bought a jug of HCL acid at hardware store for pool pH balance. It comes as 30% HCL. Used a dropper and dropped the high concentration HCL around and under the nail. Once it started to sting i rinsed it off with water. The fungus literally dissolved and i could scoop it out from under the nail. Amazing things happen when you use logic with your brain.

It heats up more slowly but will absolutely burn but not as quickly as a lighter so it's much safter. It cured my really bad fungus. I like your thought process. To make a long story short, I had a rash that covered my legs. After two doctor appointments and two types of creams, after that the doctor wanted to do shots of some kind. I thought about it and it had to be some kind of fungus or bacteria. I thought about it and what would cause those things to die off. I filled my bath tub with warm water and put about a half a cup of bleach in the water and sat in it until the water was cold. I ended up doing that twice, but it ended the problem. So just like your hot or cold, acid or alkaline will also do the job, but of course I didn't have to have it penetrate a finger nail first. Thanks for your story. Makes perfect sense.

He begged his foot doctor to remove them, but the doctor refused since the doctor didn't think they were that bad. So, one day this guy decided he was going to do it himself. He drank a fifth of vodka and pulled his toenails out with a pair of pliers. When he was finished, he called for an ambulance to take him to the hospital. After he healed up from that, he never had to see the foot doctor again.

Borax was better to prevent foot fungus after long day of wearing work boots, also can be used as shampoo to treat dandruff, which is a fungal scalp condition. Sulfur (soap) was best for removing fungal acne from whole body. Colloidal silver was best for treating normal bacterial acne but also preventing fungal infections from progressing and spreading. Oil of oregano i used internally and helped treat a particularly stubborn yeast rash in the crease if my elbow. Candida diet and keto helped to lower the severity of all fungal infections . LOL, you´re just as savage as I am. I had something heavy falling on my toe and it cracked the nail and caused internal bleeding, which in turn lifted the nail up from the underlying skin. After a while, the majority of the nail fell off and I was left with a tiny piece of nail that was curved upwards and hurt like hell in my shoe and bandaging it would only hurt. Putting socks on it caused the nail to get stuck on the textile, which was also very painful. No matter what I did, that sh!t hurt me, again and again, and again. I grew fed up with it, took some pliers and ripped it out and put some disinfectant on it and then properly bandaged it. Truth be told, I was cursing and crying through the whole procedure to the point that I was surprised that my neighbors didn´t call the cops... The resulting superficial flesh wound hurt far less than this warped piece of nail and I could bandage it without any problems. I was only worried that it could end up looking like the nail of my father, who had also something heavy falling on his toe a long time ago and his nail has been about 4mm thick and yellow ever since! Yes, that´s a chronic fungal infection. In my case, though, the nail healed perfectly despite my rough DIY approach.

I’ve had a fungal nail infection in my big toe for 18 years. I managed to heal the cracked part that was horizontally across the nail with Thera fungal nail destroyer oil product. But there’s a stubborn split up the side that points right down into the corner and is impossible to get to with a file. I bought an industrial plug in nail file/ drill with pointed attachments but it’s still impossible to get to without touching the flesh of my toe. Am worried about putting a flame here. But I’m desperate. I want a partner in life but feel this is so gross, who would want it. I can cover it with nail varnish so it isn’t so obvious but the warped shape is still apparent. Ugly and frustrating. The nail does burn when I use the powerful nail drill. Maybe I need to completely file away the nail down to the exposed flesh. Then see if it grows up. I hate this.

Okay I've just tried it and I'm pretty confident I've just cured one toe.. I don't feel steady enough to tackle the rest at this moment but I'll tell you what I discovered in trying.. My irons lowest setting is 180 degs centigrades which is too low to get any proximity heat without getting very close.. touching the nail causes it to sizzle.. no paint but I wasn't happy about that so I turned it up til it glowed red (over 450c) and then backed it off a bit. Settled at around 400. This is centigrades.. it was very very hot but felt I could control it better at a more manageable distance (between 5+10 mm) It hurts. Not mad pain and I was always in control but I think you want to feel it to know it's working. I feel this is going to be the solution. I am not a doctor. Guys, I wish I would have stuck with it but I didn’t for one reason. I started soaking my feet in water with a cap full of bleach daily, an old school doctor advised this a long time ago for my son with eczema who at the time had staph skin infection. It worked for him so I tried it for my foot fungus. I ended up with a bad 2nd degree chemical burn from the bleach so I decided not to use the UV lamp. I still think it is a wonderful idea if tested alone. Let me be clear. The lamp did not cause my burn. New studies show photo therapy to be extremely effective for a host of skin disorders including psoriasis, eczema, and fungal infections.

I used Copper Sulfate (CS) foot bath, 20 mins a day for a week, all of my toenails & four fingernails were infected badly, but it takes is seven days of soaking them after that all of my nails turned black (very Gothic) & then fell off. And fresh new clean nails grew in, take multi vitamins & they'll grow back in a hell of a lot faster. I also cut & filed down my bad nails to make them as thin as I could. And after your first soak you'll be able to see the fungus under the nails, the CS will dye it indigo (blue). I only thought I had one infected fingernail, but doing this showed me that it had spread to three more fingernails. Here's six tips; Keep your pets away, CS will make them VERY SICK, it shouldn't kill them unless they drank a lot of the treated blue water, if this happens my guess would be force them to drink .03% hydrogen peroxide to cause vomiting, do this as soon as possible. I treated the CS as a loaded gun, & locked myself in a bathroom, & when done poured it down the drain & washed out the container I used to soak my feet in, & flush the drain with clean water. You might not want to drink any forms of Alcohol during these 7 days, & lower your sugar intake, both will put a load on your liver, & your liver is what is dealing with the CS. And drink double your normal amount of water to flush it out of your system, & yes if you start peeing blood, STOP & seek help, & take the CS with you. So they can test it to make sure there isn't anything else bad in it like arsenic or cyanide. Buy laboratory grade Copper Sulfate, as pure as you can get it (99.99% pure) , yes it's more expensive, than the ceaper stuff, but you gotta know this is going inside of you. When done do not toss in your yard, it will kill everything green for years. Doesn't mean you can't put in a squeeze bottle & write "F U" in someone's lawn you hate, just joking, handle it like a loaded gun, & you wouldn't want any animals to die from drinking this. It is a poison ☠ ☠ If it makes you sick, either completely stop, or only soak for only 10 mins &/or make it weaker, or only do it every other day. Soak all of your shoes in this same solution to make sure your old shoes do not just gives you back the same fungus infection, or if you can wash your shoes in the washing machine on sterilize or sanitize & add bleach, or just throw your shoes away & buy new ones. All of my shoes are black or brown, some leather, I did all of the above to my shoes, except I didn't use bleach on the leather shows. Modern leather can handle a hell of a lot of torture, all of my shoes look fine after being washed on super hot water, they might be need to be broken in again b/c of shirking. Hope this helps someone :)

I'm trying manuka oil (full strength) in combination with hydrogen provide (food grade). I also wash my feet with activated charcoal soap every shower. I do see some improvement and believe me, I've tried everything. I have had this since I was 18, I am now 36 and it grew into the toe beds. It's really placed a sadness in my life and has effected the quality of life that I live as I would love to just slip on saddles and go for a hike, to the pool, anywhere barefoot and I can't it's too imbarrasing. This is the first time that I see any kind of method that is working.

Ha ha .. I remember this treatment .. I stepped on a rusty nail once when I was a kid and my mom whose from the old country applied this solution. ( I thought she would’ve take me for a tetanus shot ). She made me lie on my stomach and then applied olive oil to the underside of foot where the nail penetrated. Then she lit a paper towel on fire and then tapped it on the underside of my foot. I remember it burned like hell. But I was ok. All in One shot.
