Great job mate. I just found your channel this week and I’m thoroughly impressed by the quality of your work. I believe that once Tom is back uploading content, we will have 2 top noch electrical channels not in competition with each other but uploading different styles of great content. Just a quick tip, start small and gradually expand. Don’t offer everything at once. Focus on building your client base then work out which services you want to offer in the long term. Stay well and safe mate

I've fitted X number of boards over the years but it always good to watch and get tips from others. You never stop learning tips, everyone does it differently. Love the channel - no ads great for us subscribers (perhaps not so great for your wallet)

Have to admit running 25mm armoured into a CU is a tough gig. I had one recently and opted to run it into a separate metal box with henley blocks mounted inside where I converted it to meter tails and ran them out to an isolator and then into the CU. Made life a bit easier bending the meter tails around the CU. Sent the earth directly to the CU.

Jimbo, pro tip. For making holes in sheet metal have a look at sheet metal punches, you drill a normal hole for a bolt to go through and theres 2 discs you put 1 side of the punch either side of the sheet metal and you tighten a socket head cap screw and the shearing force makes a very clean hole. I feel like lots of electricians don't know about them as they're more sort of engineering - it totally does away with holesaws and makes a nice finish.
@dxnpaniicz5663

Not sure if you have considered using printable heatshrink for the circuit identification? Take a look at tapes like HSE-231, they fit in brother label printers and you just print on to them, cut them to size and slide over the wire or cable.
