This video is THE SOLE REASON I WAS ABLE TO SUPERSCORE 1590. I really struggled in 1450s but this video dramatically improved my R&W score. Thanks SARTHAK!
I am a parent of a soon to be 13 year old boy who is from JPGS. You are going to Yale and I love the way you made this video. You'll go a long long way. Many congratulations. This video will help a lot of people. Give some tips on how soon a student can start to prepare for SATs...God bless you and Good Luck Boy
Bro im confused. I'm an american student and I'm aiming for a 1450. Why did you cry for receiving a 1400 like it was a horrible score 😭. Is the test easier in India or somthing
Hey! It is actually funny but I recognize you from YC Startup School. I recently moved from Pune in India to Princeton for High school and have been struggling with the reading and writing section. I realized that instead of brute forcing practice tests, I should focus on my wrong answers. Thank you sm!
watching this again when SATs right around the corner and this is genuinely the best video on how to start right and improve along the way, thank you so much!!
Dude awesome job! I have one question I’d like to ask: How long did it take for you to progress to your 1520 score? I’m hovering around the 1350 mark, and want to get National Merit Finalist (My test is January 26, 2021). In 10 weeks, do you think it’d be realistic to break 1500s by then?
It took me about 3-4 weeks to get to 1520. 10 weeks is a very long period of time and with hard work you can crack any score you want to. All the best!
the blue book only offers 4 practiice tests. how do i find the rest of the practice tests that you have mentioned here ? (total 10 and 8 available on khan academy)
SO informative , very clearly put ideas! I got the link of this video on reddit and my sat is on the 5th of December! Thank you so much this was extremely helpful
Came here from your "Not just a college decisions reaction video." I'm currently an 8th grader and I've been training for the SAT since last year (and will be taking it for the first time in June!). I am so grateful that I came across this video; the resources and tips you mentioned seem very helpful and I will definitely look into them! I already have the black book, but the Erica Meltzer books seem very helpful (considering I'm not as good in the reading/writing sections compared to the math section). I see a lot of resemblance between your father and mine. He seemed so invested in your journey and decisions, and his reactions alongside yours were so precious! My father also dreams of me getting into a great school (that I love), and I hope I can make him proud just like you made yours beyond proud! Your hard work has clearly paid off, and you deserve that!
This video is one of the best I have seen till now. The fact that you were generous enough to share your mistakes with us( through the excel sheet) is quite rare. Thanks and cheers!
If you have 2 weeks left, the best approach would be to do as many practice tests as you can and review the mistakes. focus on official material from college board
All the points given by you are very well put together..I hvnt come across any video by any student in such a detailed and precise manner...it will be very helpful for the kids..God bless u!
Advanced Placement and International General Certificate of Secondary Examinations, they are international math exams that a lot of high schools offer, the math courses for these exams covers up a lot of content for the SAT Math sections.
