Hey Jean, thank you for sharing your story. I have been following the warm up to this weeks cloud intensive training and I must say I've had a great time learning with you. Like many, I am transitioning into IT and my experience so far has been obtaining certifications (I currently have CompTIA A+, Net+, Security+ and Linux+ soon), but your approach has convinced me that I will need to learn multicloud as well. I am so glad to hear your dreams came true and it gives me hope to continue to follow mine. Thanks again for all you do!

My take away is to have faith in God and believe in yourself. i have had Devops training but i still have to understand the tools to a large extent.

Actually, I see cloud as an addition to my Developer skill set. Containers like docker and configuration orchestration will make consistency, scalability, and flexibility quite easier

Hi Jean, I am actually a complete beginner in the IT field, having finished a master degree in Mathematics, I decided to switch career into IT to learn DevOps. I am currently taking a training program for the DevOps engineering role, I am even preparing for my CKA exam right now. Hi Jean, awesome experience you've got. What stuck me he most was the fact that you mentioned the God factor to everything we do. I recently have been Job hunting and truth be told I am at the frustrating part where I keep getting those rejections and not being able to continue with my applications. Enjoyed the story. It was completely of the motivational variety though. I was expecting a technical step-by-step approach and was therefore thoroughly disappointed. We can't all be Oracle engineers and will thus have our different paths to that destination. Then I looked again at the title of the video and saw that it said, "How I landed..." and not "How to land...". Congrats on your success. Praying that God will show me my own path to Silicon Valley.
