i randomly remembered super monkey ball 1 & 2 today and decided to look it up to see if anyone had talked about it on youtube. I’m so glad I did, not only have you two single handedly brought back a franchise from when I was a little kid but it’s such a heartwarming story. I haven’t played the games in more than a decade, i’m 20 years old now. This whole story is just insane to me. When i first played super monkey ball deluxe on the Xbox I was a little kid living in mexico, sinking hours upon hours into this game. I now live in canada, i’m in university & it’s just crazy to me how such a special game from my childhood is being brought back to life. It’s bringing me back such beautiful memories, thank you so much.

I think that the retro mode might be a "no jump" mode where you had the original controls but also maybe a "new" mode where you can jump so the new and returning can both play based on their skill sets.

Banana Mania appears or seems to be this new upcoming game's title! I would've prefered if Sega brought back the artstyle from Super Monkey Ball 1, 2, and Deluxe, but...
