Awesome video and something I've wanted to try and learn myself (a basic standing backflip that is). I'm based in roughly the same area as you and wondered what gyms you went to/how you approached them. Bit nervous just heading to one with no experience! Keep up the vids, and well done on landing it!

Stoked to read this comment, yeah it's very daunting at first. I looked for adult classes in my area and then looked for a private coach (it was about $50/h and I did one lesson). I'd suggest to just go for it and have a long term mentality (learn it in 1-3 months, as opposed to just sending it without training). If this video gets you on the same journey then it was worth making!🤙

@easy_riders wait I said that wrong it's a very cool trick, but it's not speeds he didn't make it it's not even his signature flip it's a layout backflip or you could call it a spiderman backflip

Ah I see! Yeah I mean Speed popularised it I guess. There's definitely a huge group of people who saw speed do it and thought it looked sick (but don't know that it's a layout).👍
