Thanks for sharing your story. I was grow up in Dharamsala and I met my wife in Macleod Ganj in 1987 we married in 1992. My wife is from Vermont USA she speaks Tibetan very well.

Continued Success to You! Tibetans are an amazing people...great contributors to World Culture and Art. Tibetan Buddhism may well be one of the most pictorial religious systems of the world. The Symbolism in Tibetan Buddhism is astounding...it s worth studying by anyone wishing to add new dimensions to Cognitive Science or the science of the human mind. Specialists in Tibetan may be able to understand better Tibetan Symbolism and Tantric concepts... strive to understand how the language is connected to the visual representations of Buddhist concepts.

May be the best decision in ur life. Not cuz of Tibetan language cuz now u r very close to Buddhism. I believe the greatest teasure of mankind lie in Tibetan Buddhist script.🙏🏽💐🙏🏽

It’s a lot easier to think in Tibetan. Makes way more sense than English. Scriptural Tibetan is also not the same as spoken. I learned attending for my Root Lama and then did some translation until I had some brain damage from autoimmune disease and lost it and a lot of English. As I was re learning I really felt it was easier to think in it. Fewer rules to remember.

I would like to know if you recommend a program to be a tibetan translator!! I have been fascinated by the RYI program based in nepal i think. May i ask what other language you speak, is the grammar of tibetan the hardest?
