These are all so lovely. I make journals but I haven't made myself one, because I'm not one to journal. My life has been full of heartache but yet I have so many blessings. I never thought to make one and use it for collecting happy moments and blessings. Thank you for your inspiration.
Thank you so much Trish. I do hope you will make one and write your happy moments and blessings. It could be a lovely peaceful place for you to go. Let me know if you give it a try. Chrissie x
Thank you so much . Because of you, I actually have started the slow stitch from k3n clothtales.I am doing the slow stitching on the cover. I'm taking my time because I can start my year at anytime. Im really enjoying the process and I will start my journal of blessings soon. God has been with me my entire 60 yrs of life and that's enough for me to journal about. It's all in how you choose to see your cup. Among the heartbreaks, my cup is over flowing.☺️
🥰🎈🎈🎈Hi Chrissie, I just ordered Flora. What a great Birthday birthday gift for ME👍🥰😎🎈🍀 The name Flora is my Great Grandma's name,🍀🍀 I loved your idea 💡Using small pieces of fabric like stamps. I love flower fairies🐾🐾🐕🐕🐰🐰❤❤❤❤I am very lucky 🍀to add this journal to my Chrissie collection. 🥰 Laura
Thank you Christie for sharing these and your way of using a journal. I usually only use a journal for holidays and special events but I love the idea of storing quotes and keepsakes. ❤😊
Love your first journal and how you use it. I love tree’s and dogs too!!! Great video with ideas of how you can journal. Plus the last 3 are lovely💕🐾🌴.
It seems we’re kindred spirits Chrissie. I LOVE trees and dogs as well. I do much the same in a journal, I write things that are meaningful to me or that I’m grateful for. Thank you for sharing these journals; your beautiful and artistic spirit shines through them. 🥰
@@chrissiecrosser Hi Chrissie, yes I have a little red poodle, and she’s about 10 pounds. Her name is Piper and I absolutely love her. She is the silliest little dog, very sweet and quite a little character! We’ve always had poodles, because they don’t shed and are so smart. Our last poodle, Lilly, was an absolute angel. I miss her terribly. They’re really special members of the family, aren’t they. ❤️ Your dog sounds very sweet and precious too!
Hi Chrissie I use my journal in a similar way, and write down inspirational quotes and poems and I also jot down special moments. My husband and I like to take car rides with no destination and come upon little towns and the woods are always a good find. We took are precious friend, always, everywhere we went loved him as our child. The poems brought tears to my eyes 😢 My journals are also a source of peace, Calms my soul. It is also very peaceful for me to watch your videos. Loved the idea to extend the cover Great idea to use River’s photo for the poem❤
Hi Bernie, Thanks for taking the time to tell me how you like to journal. It is a personal thing isn't it ...how we use our journals. I love the idea of your little adventure trips...just going where you happen to end up...a lovely thing to do. 🌹🌷🌻
Thank you for the flip through of all your journals. They are all so pretty and so interesting. I love how eclectic they are. I don't journal. But I like to make them.
I keep a LOT of dog stuff in my journals as well, in fact several are just dogs, all about dogs, dogs only. I have an altered-book journal that's only Boston terriers (at one point I had five...so fun.) Most of mine end up like "smash books".I also have a "happy mail" junk journal, made with my "kitchen pages" and filled with goodies people have sent me. Messy but fun.
Such a sweet blessing to see your journal. This totally makes sense to me. A wonderful way to use it! I’ll enjoy putting favorite Bible verses in mine.
I use my journals in a similar way Animals are a big focus and I find myself drawn to write something after a traumatic time or loss as therapy. I collect poems and treasures that I want to remember. I hadn't thought of adding a fragrant sachet but that is a brilliant idea! ❤
These are beautiful. What a great way to use a journal. I’m with you…I really don’t see myself journaling in the traditional sense. Great video, Chrissie!
This is the loveliest journal. The paper and the ROSES you have used are so so beautiful. I love that you fill your journal this way. What a lovely, lovely video.
Oh, Chrissie, these journals are so beautiful.l! You inspire me to use my journals better than I do, so they're a more accurate reflection of who I really am. Thank you for sharing! Jan
Thank you for sharing your beautiful journals, Chrissie. 💖 and how you use them. I use mine much the same way. Stuffed with bits and bobs. Writings that are special to me. But in addition, each day I try to add three things I’m thankful for. 💖💖💖
Thank you for letting me know how you journal Deb. It does sound much the same as me and I love that you write the things you are grateful for too. I hope you enjoy your new journal which will be on her way soon. Chrissie x
Hi Chrissie, what beautiful journals you have created, like the method you use for writing in your journal. Your fabrics are so lovely and all of the colors go together beautifully.❤ Shirley
Your journals are absolutely beautiful Chrissie! I like to write down anything that I see while I am out and about, or anything that comes to mind that inspires, instructs, or comforts and encourages me! Thank you so much for sharing! 🙏💜💐
Thank you for taking the time to comment and I hope you will get to the place of being able to journal. Your journal can be a very peaceful place to come to. Maybe you could use it in the way I do...a book to collect things that speak to you. A book of positiveness and joyfulness. Wishing you all the best. Chrissie 🌻🌻🌻
