I really do love your approach to mood and also the camera switch to show your hands on the guitar while playing is really great creative approach to switch between two views. Humor on point as well as interesting ways of using mood uniquely. Look forward to the next Stephen!

@@stephenbeyer Yea, I was on the fence about keeping it because I noticed Chase Bliss will let you ship it back within 30 days, and $400 is a lot for me to drop on a pedal. I like that it is like having a bunch of different transformers almost with all the different devices. Its is not something that I clicked with immediately I will say that. My next pedal I have coming is the EAE Halberd...just learned of that pedal maker.
It’s nice that CBA has added that return policy along the new direct-to-consumer model. 👍 You never know how much you do or don’t like something till it’s in front of you.
@@masterofreality230 I wasn’t super aware of Electronic Audio Experiments either until just yesterday I had the privilege of meeting John (The founder) at an “Effector Market at Windsor Brown’s” yesterday. Got to try his pedals out alongside those of Chase Bliss, Caroline Guitar Company, OBNE, Empress, & Meris. 😁 John was super nice (all of the builders where honesty). He has some serious drives/distortions in his collection. Like really good. It was dope to hear that he played in the string quartet of Pile’s most recent record, “All Fiction”. 🎻

@@patinthechat6452 lol that’s true! I’ve found so much value in the devices from CBA that I’ve bought. They’re so inspiring and have endless tweak ability. To each their own, but I’ve found them to be a worthwhile investment. Especially considering they hold their value well (in case I ever wanted to sell). Which CBA pedals do you have/love most?
Honestly they're kind of hard to wrap your head around by reading or even listening to what other people do with them. Also not the type of pedal that will predictably produce the same result every time (well, the left side can, but the right side or both sides together become super exploratory / happy accident makers). So it's not for everybody. But for me, it was already a desert-island pedal so I'm super stoked for mkii!
@@andrew_franz_noise5903👈 what he said, @Ambrose. Chase Bliss pedals are expensive, but I can’t stress how much I recommend trying one yourself before making a final judgment.
The ones on POG2, Keeley Compressor & Spectrum are “Barefoot Buttons V1” from Sweetwater. The ones on Unicorn are same brand, but “tallboys V1”. A bit pricey, but really nice IMO. Especially for pedals that don’t have soft switches. The ones on the Chase Bliss pedals and ROOMS are some I bought from Amazon. The Barefoot Buttons Tall Boys obscure my view from the bypass light, I found these to work a bit better in that regard (they’re also cheaper): SOLUTEK Pedal Footswitch Topper with 3 Screws and Rubber Insert Fit Tightly on common pedal switches(3/8"10mm) Red Silver Black Gold Blue Green 6 Pack a.co/d/4fip3Ud
Have to keep some things in mono to appreciate stereo. If everything is in stereo all the time, it just loses its magic. Just My opinion tho. I think blooper is just fine without being stereo.

It’s interesting to see how many people complain about so many pedals not being in stereo and I’m not at all saying you were because you absolutely were not but I feel like it’s kind of a newb thing. @@LoVeAmBiEnT yeah, the whole stereo VS mono pedal thing a bit more involved than most probably anticipate. I’d be interested to see data on the average panning that stereo devices use (obviously not all use HARD left/right). As far as blooper goes, I don’t even need a stereo spread from the pedal itself so much as as I’d like it to have the ability of accepting a stereo signal for me to put it at the end of whatever chain. 🔉🔉
