Yep, every stack must include creatine and protein powder. I've just hit 51 and have added Taurine, the research on it is a bit early but people have been drinking it in Red Bull for years so probably safe. On exercise you need to find what works for you, consistency is the most important details. Personally I love running and feel it helps me mentally as well as physically. But never on a treadmill, get out into the wild! And finally suck it up and ditch the alcohol, haven't had a drink for 11 months and in the best shape of my life. Finally thanks for the great content.

Nice vid, totally agree with different DNA there is no ONE way to workout for all of us. One change I'm thinking of making in 2024 is to separate cardio from weight days. Forever I've done 45-60 min weight session, then ride the bike for 20-30 min to keep heart rate up an work on fat lose. I've been reading this can cause miscommunication in the body and limit muscle growth by immediately doing cardio. So I'm thinking of just doing my typical weight session 4-5 days a week and then doing cardio on other days to separate cues in the body. Thoughts? I'd love to lose 15-20 pounds of fat this year and not lose much muscle. Thanks

Hi Bryan, as you continue your journey, do what you can to increase your intensity of effort and reducing the volume. Increase your recovery and add more rest days between your workouts. You are heading toward high intensity training in the Mike Mentzer style with your passion for training. Fewer sets and higher intensity! You should be seeing gains in every workout in either reps or weight. Do no use ANY momentum. Slow and controlled. By do all this, you will not plateau. I hope you are keeping a training journal and writing down everything and seeing gains. I'd love to you meet you at some point and train together.

I recently started doing a full body session 2-3 times per week lasting 90 minutes each. I was doing a push/pull/leg split 3 times a week before. I would sometimes feel like it was a chore too until I decided to combine everything into one workout. Ive increased my weight training and able to keep it within a reasonable amount of time. Also walking at least 10k steps daily and I also do 30-45 minutes on the Peloton bike on non lifting days. Try working out early in the morning if you can before your full day starts.

Keto comment: As an athlete who ate healthy prior to going carnivore... I noticed IMMEDIATE GAINS in stamina on the field, track, and gym. @@Txcowboy80 I guess nothing is best for everyone! Hugh LDL isn't an issue for Carnivores though... Mine doubled from 81 to 161. Lost 30 pounds of fat in 4 months, gained muscle. Within the first week, I was running faster, harder, and longer than ever. No keto flu, no danger pants, energy is now steady... Coffee gives me a slight boost, but I don't have a crash afterwards anymore. Zero junk, zero vegetables, zero fruit. I just eat the most nutrient dense foods on the planet and feel great and look the best of my entire life. Wouldn't trade it for any LDL measurement bc LDL doesn't scare or concern me in the least.

@vilisavescu565
@vilisavescu565 6 месяцев назад
Its not about being bad, its about not making sense dude 😂 . 1g per pound is more than enough , even 0.75g per pound . This guy obsviously didn’t try to have the same calories he is having now , but having 0.75g protein per pound and replenish the rest of the actual protein calories with carbs . If he would’ve tried , and be more logical about his approach he will choose the less protein one . When u train for muscle the ONE MOST IMPORTANT things is perfomance in the gym . Thats how you stimulate . And performance requires carbs
