In this episode of Flipping with Scapenomics, we flip the much anticipated Desert Treasure 2 release! I am going to be flipping on the Grand Exchange all week to make a bunch of profit as the markets are going crazy with the new update!
Every time an OSRS update is released (especially if its a larger one that includes new boss content) the market tends to react by a spike in player count, which leads to a spike in volatility. Volatility makes flipping more profitable, but also a lot riskier as items can shoot up or plummet very quickly.

Flipping Dictionary:
Active Flipping: The act of bank standing at the Grand Exchange and buying / selling offers as soon as they complete.
Above Margin: When you list to buy or sell an item above the current margin listed on a price tracking website. Buying above margin will buy faster, but selling above margin will trade slower.
Below Margin: When you list to buy or sell an item below the current margin listed on a price tracking website. Buying below margin will trade slower, but selling below margin will trade faster.
Margin: The difference between the sell price and the buy price for an item, minus tax.
On-Margin: When you're flipping an item on the current margin available on a price website. It essentially means to flip an active margin. Even if you list slightly above / below the current margin, it would still be considered "on margin" as long as you are flipping it actively.
Overcut: When someone else undercuts you. Sometimes is used interchangeably with undercut if being used for a sell offer.
Undercut: When you list your buy / sell offer slightly higher than the current margin, "undercutting" the price listings of other players so your buy offer fills first.
Volatile / Volatility: Volatility is how much an items price swings within a certain timeframe. The longer the timeframe, the more volatility an item is likely to have, and the more risky (but more profitable) it may be to flip
