You can head over to AshenWarriorProps channel to see an amazing tutorial. But I used various paints, Eva foam, hot glue, contact cement,plastics, red window tint, and of course AshenWarriorProps’ amazing template!
Never understood not using real surplus helmets on these I've yet to see a design that does, it's a m1 steel pot helmet the lenses look like Russian tanker goggles (also what anikin Skywalker wears when pod racing) and a Russian filter, great build though,
Oh I’m sure you could totally do that! I just have much more fun working with foam, it’s lightweight and way more affordable. But using a steel helmet has crossed my mind.
@@outsidethebuilds74thanks for the reply. love the look of this armor it actually looks like it would actually work pretty well irl in that kind of environment.i think it would be really cool to put a "real" feeling one on for a bit.at one point the helmets weren't too bad price wise, knockoff goggles Could probably be found on wish and budk used to sell real (expired) filters and masks to scavenge for parts.your video makes me want to cobble one together
