Hey guys so rather than buying a holder I thought I’d make my own one. There’s nothing more satisfying than making your own tools rather than buying than, check it out.
As you pointed out you could've bought a magnetic holder for less than the cost of the metal you used .... BUT ... you made it, it's far better than the cheap holders you get out there and it looks like a quality piece of kit .... superb 👍
Nice work Darren. Particularly with redoing the knobs and making your own knurling tool to boot. The footage for that by the way would probably be ideal for a RU-vid short.
Im looking forward to seeing your design for your new knurling tool. I bought one but Its not quite right and adjusting it to tighten in situ is a 50/50 gamble on losing a finger. Im hoping your design inspires me to get out into the workshop and create would I should made in the first place.
