how long did it take for you to memorise all your flashcards?? I've got around 70 days left till GCSES and still haven't finished making them all,do you reckon that's enough time

Writing down is proven to help remember more

Yea but the time taken to write everything compared to just making them digitally is not worth it imo

it is not worth it to start from the top in my opinion i also have a classmate in class who does that and gets 70s i think active recall is better aswell rather than just not processing anything and being a writing machine

i would have to disagree with you. i still strongly believe physical flashcards are better than digital ones regardless of the fact that they can get damaged. because it is when you write down things by your hand you remember how will write it down in the exam. if i write it from a keyboard i would try my best to reduce and summarize the definitions which is something i really shouldnt be doing if i need to get high marks. Writing down things motivates you to write in a way that would make you achieve HIGH marks. I dont really care much about designs and stuff and i get the fact that digital cards can save much time. But does it matter? After all spending more time in writing is what helps you remember things not typing because exam is written.

You only write it down once. That doesn’t make enough of a difference to make it useful.

You can memorize it through space repitition, so its alright if you use either digital or hand written, the technique is on REPETITIONS.

Another path is to make a physical one and have a photo in the mobile ready to read anywhere

Wrong. That's the same as saying writing down notes will help you memorise when it just won't. Repetition is key. Therefore physical flashcards have no advantages over digital flashcards. Digital flashcards are more easier to organise, more convenient and quicker to go through. It's much better imo. Plus most students don't have the time to physically write out flashcards
