That is one of my best selling scents as well, bescented has sea salt Blossom, that is my second best seller. Midwest is where I get the majority of my fragrance oils

Hello, I enjoy your videos. Do you have any issues with the glass bottle pumps becoming loose? I purchased glass bottles with the fine spray pump from GBO about 2 years ago. I haven't launched my business yet, so I didn't realize it until I started making some testers. After I screw the spray tops on, I noticed it unscrewed slightly. When I saw they had a sale, I purchased from them thinking it was the same company I ordered samples from. I didn't realize the samples I ordered were from a different company until I checked my purchase history.

Great video!! Is there any reason I couldn't use a plastic Boston round bottle? I do know that citrus is hard on plastic, but not sure if it would apply to room spray.

I haven't ever used plastic, but I know some do! You would of course need to make sure it's the right kind of plastic that will not get eaten away by the fragrance oil. Not sure of the technical terms! Haha

I have not used a recipe with witch hazel before. Not for any particular reason. I tried this reason and stuck with it since I liked it. I have since switched the way I make my room sprays though. I do have an updated video on my channel.

Out of curiosity, I've purchased the same ingredients to start making room spray and I'm wondering how 'cloudy' the mixture actually gets. We do use amber jars. I just have another candle maker friend who uses a different recipe which doesn't cloud but lol I've already got my ingredients.

It gets pretty milky. I personally don't mind, and haven't had any customers mind either. I know there are some recipes that are clear. It really just depends on preference. Midwest Fragrance Company is coming out with a room spray base soon, and I will probably start buying that instead of making my own if I like theirs.

@@calafiacandleco I’ve used Midwest fragrance companies room spray base. Personally, I don’t like it, it’s expensive and you have to mix really fast while you’re pouring the fragrance in. I get my base from Essential wholesale labs. There’s is really good, they do not have notes on the website on how to use it so I called and they said you have to add polysorbate 20 to the Fragrance oil before you mix it in the base. I just got 5 gallons of it and it was $118 and they are all natural which I really like and it has a preservative already added. It does get milky because you’re adding the Polysorbate 20 and it mixes really good. Hope this helps anyone looking for a good room spray base

Hey there! I actually have the recipe multiplied by 4 in the description box for someone who would want to make four 4oz bottles. Since 4 goes into 16 four times, you could use that recipe for one 16oz bottle. Hope that makes sense lol. Regular scale!

Not every room spray formula uses witch hazel. This one doesn't. I actually have an updated room spray video on my channel because I have since changed the way I make them.

Can we use polsorbate 80 instead of polsorbate 20

Great question. I believe you can. Poly 80 is intended for heavier oils or butters. Poly 20 is recommended for essential and fragrance oils. I believe the 80 is darker in color and might give the room sprays a different look. But it will do the same purpose or combining the water with the oil.

Yes, if they have been sitting for some time. I add in the directions to shake well before using. I’m actually switching over to Midwest fragrance company’s room spray base. It’s clear and no separation. Also odor eliminating! Will film a video on it soon.
