8:20 The washi tape cut will do a "kiss cut" so to ensure that your background is fully cut out of the sticker paper then you will have to duplicate the background 3x (going from what Fructus did). This will have the cricut machine cut multiple times around the boarder to ensure it is fully cut. Edit: Seeing how you did the outline on each sticker was so helpful!
Thankyou for this! I was just about to come In the comments and ask if anyone knew the best way to kiss cut the stickers and cut the whole sticker sheet out at the same time ❤
Hi Jen! I was wondering if you have tried to create a sticker sheet with a laminate on top of it? I've been trying to figure it out for a while now and figured I'd reach out! Thanks for this video, it helped a ton in making regular sticker sheets. Love your content ♡
Thank you for this awesome video and for your time in making it! Thank you for telling us the Procreate canvas size for the sticker sheet. What canvas size do you use for your sticker?
So I tried this method and the washi setting, but it would only the outside edges of the bgs and I think it has to do with the new update and "create sticker" feature. When I made the bg and actual stickers into "create sticker" and selected "kiss cut" it read the file correctly and made a sticker sheet. I hope this helps.
12:30 hey, Jen, great video! Just a quick tip that I discovered: you can actually wash the Cricut mats in soap and water to remove residue, which will greatly improve the stickiness.
hang on, how on earth can you print RGB with no issues??? every time i try to print something not optimized for CMYK my printer looks me dead in the eyes and gives me nothing in return
This is not working for me. Every single time I try to do sticker sheets like this, my cricut only cuts the outline of the sticker sheet, but NEVER cuts the stickers themselves. It's extremely frustrating.
This is so helpful, but I see you work in lettering paper size, I need a4 dimensions, also the pixel dimensions for your individual pictures sun/moon would be helpful, are you using the same as your sticker sheet?
Wonderful tutorial! It did take me 3 passes with the Cricut Maker using Zicoto Vinyl Glossy Sticker Paper using Washi setting and a fairly new blade. But the results are wonderful!
Hi Fructus, I've been trying to print stickers for fun but I keep running into the problem of my sticker paper jamming a lot - is it because of my sticker paper because it's new? I've made sure to try and feed my sticker paper 1 by 1 as well as fanning them, but it will still randomly jam, it makes making stickers not as fun because I feel like it's 70% troubleshooting and 30% having the stickers come out right :(
With the same cutting settings work if you using laminate, I want to create laminated holographic sticker sheets, and I’m a little bit worried that the regular settings for creating sticker sheets won’t work for laminated stickers because I have created laminated holographic stickers and kiss cut but not sticker sheets and I don’t want to cut too deep an the sticker comes off. This has been a headache.
hii, great video! but whenever I try to do this it only cuts the outline of my sheet( I’ve been trying it for years now). does someone have any idea what I’m doing wrong
May i ask what sticker paper you use for this? Ive been using a glossy + laminate style for my decals but would be curious to know what your preferences are for sticker sheet specific!
Watched this tutorial so much to help start my own sticker business. Little too for the cricut make sure you wash your mats with water and soap and let air dry frequently. Help preserve the sticky
This is a really great “How to,” vid. It covers everything I wanted to know whilst being clear and concise so I understood without losing interest. Thanx, I really appreciate this upload 😍
Thank you so much for this tutorial. It is concise, yet you covered the topic completely. I have watched this video twice already and will refer back to it as I print out my stickers. Thank you!
Does exist any website same like INPRNT that you just add your designs and they take care of everything with shipping and send them to customers? To sell sticker SHEETS.
I'm not sure actually! i haven't thought about that so I haven't done any research for something like that. I know that Redbubble does stickers but I've heard mixed opinions on that. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful on this question 😅
I just got my cricut a few days ago, so this video really helped me understanding Cricut Design Space a bit better. However, I cannot cut the outline of the sticker. I followed exactly as you did, and only the outside of the sticker sheet gets printed, but not the actual sticker borders. The only difference is that I only use my iPad, both to draw and to run Cricut Design Space. Could it be the reason ? It looks so easy for everyone and i really don’t get why it doesn’t work for me :(( Does anyone else has/had the same problem ?
Excellent video which I followed today but I am not having the options to do the colour profiles where you do the +10 to the colours and choose 'vivid'? I am using a MacBook.
hii i havev a question i was wondering if you could help me out. I just got a cricut, when I upload my images it doesn't let me select image type and skips up to the background remover screen. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling but it's still the same and when I go to settings it doesn't let me go back to older versions of design space, it just shows live and beta version. Do you have any tips on how to get it to work?
That's so strange! I haven't personally encountered this issue and the option has always been there. Perhaps contacting Cricut support would help. Sorry I can't be of more help/use 🌷
This is the best tutorial I've watched also I have epson 2800 so I am so confused on what kind of paper sticker I can use? Also what sticker paper i can use if the ink is sublimation? 🫠
Very helpful in depth video! Thanks for sharing ❤ I’m curious to know much each material cost when you created the sticker sheet? From the printer, to paper, the cricut and any other materials you need. I’ve been sending my designs to a company for them to make my stickers, but I’m leaning towards making my own stickers 😊
Always so interesting to watch your videos! I'm currently planning on make some stickers for my shop for the first time so this video is very handy to have around, specially for the printing settings since I also have an epson thanks for sharing!
I have followed your video step by step and for some reason my cricut isn’t cutting the individual stickers, it’s only cutting round the edges? Do you know why this is?
Thank you for your video!! Definitely the easiest video I’ve seen to follow. I do have a question though - I did all the same steps but for some reason my circuit is only cutting the background edges and not the sticker…would you have a troubleshoot for this?
I have a question I printing with ink and I saw some "bad" lines I little bit scared to fix or do semthing could you say is it really bad, I printed about 10papers colored .
This is amazing work if I only knew how to to use procreate. I’ve been watching countless videos on how to make stickers it’s gets so overwhelming when you are a newbie but so far you tutorial is pretty straight forward other then not know how to use procreate . Do you have a tutorial on procreate?❤
Every time I try to cut my sticker sheets, my Cricut does not apply the banner in with the borders of my stickers. Therefore it does not align after its been printed.
I followed your tutorial, and we couldn't get the Cricut to cut around the individual stickers. It only cut around the outside of the rectangle. What did we do wrong? How can we fix this? Thanks so much!
Its hard to guess what might be the issue but my suggestion would be to double check that your different layers on are flatten or merged together on your canvas in the cricut design space. You can group them but do flatten.
@@j.rabbitcraftsthe largest size I wanted to use was 8x11, so I have designs in this size, but trying to convert them to 4x6 has been a nightmare; they always become pixelated and blurry. Is there any tip or trick to achieving a better result in procreate?
This is the best tutorial I ever found! Thank you for making it so clear and easy to understand❤❤ (Also I looooove your sticker designs. They're so cute!)
Typically yes that is the rule for printing. However, my printer can handle RGB and I prefer the colors with this color profile so that's why I use it. 😊
Tried this about a million times and the only thing my Cricut will cut is the dang background. Not your fault, you did a great job with your tutorial and I did learn a few things. Regardless, I’m not in the slightest happy with my Cricut right now…….
Just a quick question. I watched the one you did for the individual sticker (I loved it and it was very helpful btw), but I noticed you don't laminate your sticker sheets. Why? (I'm sorry if that's a stupid question. I've never done anything like this and I'm just curious) Thank you for the videos! They are so awesome and helpful, Thank you!
I chose not to laminate my sticker sheets because the intended use for these kinds of stickers are for planners or notebooks. Getting the cut settings right is very tricky with sticker sheets too. It's not impossible but this is what I decided to do :)
This video is so helpful!! I’m doing exactly what you have done but my cricut is still only cutting out the background square and not the individual stickers, any tips?!
Are you uploading the stickers and the background separately? If so, make sure that they are both set to print and cut. And don't merge the layers in the Cricut Design Space. You want to only group or attach them.
So I always make the individual designs on a separate canvas and then import them into the canvas for the sheet. I only scale them down once and usually it doesn't get too pixelated. If I want to change the sizing, I'll reimport it. I also don't rotate anything because that also causing things to look blurry.
Heya, I just wanted to pop by and say thank you so much! I've been struggling to make stickers with a sticker sheet and your video was the clearest and most concise video I've watched so far.
Hi Jen, for the part where you show the sticker design, whats the canvas size? I noticed that it didnt pixelate when you transfer them to the sheet and adjust them. Thanks! 😊 hope you can read my comment. Love the video. Been looking for a tutorial like this. Next is for the border layout you made. I will find tutorials on how to do that. 😂
On procreate, the canvas size is 4.5 x 6 inches or 1350 x 1800 pixels at 300 DPI. In the Cricut design space, I then just size it back to 4.5 x 6 inches because it gets really big when you import it 😊
Another other drawing or graphic design tool should work too. Something like Canva or photoshop. I've just used Procreate but I'm sure there are plenty of other ways to do the same thing :)
Happy to hear that! 🥰 I don't have a video or tutorial on the header right now. I just drew it in by hand but you can use Canva probably and use the shapes they have to create something similar :)
This is really cool! Thank you, will definitely check out the shop 😊 How do you deal with ink costs, though? Isn't it too expensive/printer needs to be refilled constantly?
I have an epson ecotank printer and it uses ink bottles instead of ink cartridges so its very long lasting. I've had my printer for over a year and I've only had to refill the ink once!
