I tried having a color system but couldn't keep it straight. So now I just use one color, orange, and highlight anything that means something to me!

If you use a ruler the wrong way round....so the flat side is face up, then you won't get the line smudge when you move it hun. x

I love reading my bible and writing in my bible as well i read the entire bibles i have the holy bible kjv version and the nlt bible as well I read both of them and I’m plenty too reread it again it makes me feel closer to the lord ❤👏✝️🙏 god bless you and your family

I have used watercolors and colored pencils for years in my Bible. The watercolors - if I am inspired by an image as I read. The pencils I use to doodle in the margins or color code. I circle the names of Jesus' lineage in red. Names of towns I want to remember, I put a square around (like a street sign). I have specific doodles for things like births & deaths, and when females are mentioned. Like you I have tip-ins in some of my Bibles. These things remind me of the details. I love how you use stickers and other things in your Bibles. Tfs.

I always want to do all the things in all the Bibles...but sometimes I just need to slow down and simplify some. Thanks for all of the helpful tips! ❤

Hi Cat, I love the color coding on your Bible. I do similar color-coding, but I use it when studying a specific book of the Bible. Love all the stickers.Thank you for sharing your ideas and creativity.

I’m using pink green blue and orange x command, money, promise, prayer the prayer is only for specificly written out prayer like the Ephesians prayer edit to add Purple for Jesus ex Isaiah 53:10-11

My Treveris Bible came six days early! So far, as planned, I will be using it as a reader only, with perhaps a few key verses underlined. I do not want to mark this one up, at least not yet.

You kinda read my mind! I’m wanting to do the same thing as you however my mind goes into who, what,where,when and why now should I worry about that or should I just stick with what I’m working on right now and that’s knowing who is God? And what he does

I've underlined and highlighted in my study bibles for years. Have no problem with it....but I just can't bring myself to mark in my premium Bible.
