I believe its Sid. Because if you notice in the pilot Sophie took his phone and not Jesse's and both love interests of Sid and Sophie's left them that night to go to different regions. Besides Hana is not even in the intro so they are for sure not Marshal and Lilly. And when Sid talked to her about love in the episode " Stacey " and told her " If its the right person things going to work out" and he gave her his hand to help her stand up and it was like they would be the ones who are going to end up together. Plus in the pilot Sophie and Sid are both telling each other that they found their love of their life and in the episode " Stacey" both Sid and Sophie are sitting across each other while Drew and Hana across each other, both had a fight and they both broke up in the end. Because I do believe that Sid broke up with Hana in s2, PLUSSS when Sophie 2050 says that that night of the pilot episode she met his dad, the first shot is that of Sid and not Jesse. And in the last scene of s2 huge changes of their relationships are happening. Sophie becomes a couple with Jesse while as we can tell from Sid's expression ( i cant still believe that he is the boy from the Life of Pi), we could tell that Sid broke up with Hana. And from the start we could feel that they could not work out. At first Hana was far away, then she came back and she cheated on him. If they wanted them to be like Marshal and Lilly they would just let them be far away for Hana to live her dream as a doctor and not making her cheating. I will add some more hints. In that last scene of s2, when Sophie 2050 says that they both were afraid of braking each other's hearts, Sophie 2050 looks down sad in 0:54 and implies that one of them broke their heart in that relationship. Also when she says that it was the perfect kiss and it shows the scene of Sophie telling that the water goes into her mouth her son says that " i thought it was the perfect kiss" and Sophie 2050 says " oh it was" maybe she meant another kiss under the rain. AAAAlso if you notice, some of her lines when the episodes start might not be for the stories they show us exactly, like in an episode Sophie 2050 told another story and she admitted it. So some of her quotes maybe go for other scenes. GUYSSSS. DO YOU REMEMBER THE UMBRELLA INCIDENT? Ted confused his umbrella with Tracey's. And their names started from T. And Sid's and Sophie's name start from the same letter and they confused their phones that looked the same and the phone lead Sophie to his bar and then his house. Like Ted was led to Tracey's apartment. And try to notice that every time that a big change is happening in Sophie's love life is happening in Sid's too. Pilot episode they both think they found their loved ones. Last episode of s2? Sophie becomes a couple with Jesse and Sid breaks up with Hannah
@@abnarain8359 Yeah i googled the cast the other day because i wanted to see where Hillary Duff was in other projects, and i saw that Sid's actor was playing in Life Of Pi and then found out that he was the protagonist. And i watched the trailer too. He is very talented
@@yours_eve2001 I watched the trailer, too, you're right it is him. Wow he's got range. For the record, I think it's Sid, too. Jessie feels too obvious and on the nose.
Thank you for your comment. I feel Sophie and Sid have such great chemistry. Every time I see them together I think they would be epic together. And I think it's great they start out as friends. Let me add one thing to your list of hints: when Hana confesses her kiss with another guy to Sid, he says that he had a similar situation where he felt he got too close to a woman and Hana immediately asks "Sophie?" - I screamed when I heard that because then I knew, it's not just in my head, not just wishful thinking
We all have to blame the strike and Bob Iger (who owns Disney's streaming services Disney+ and Hulu) for cancelling it. But I have hoping for this show to get revived by ABC (I know their social media accounts had been recently promoting HIMYM).
The rain that brings reconciliation and love while on the other side it means separation and sorrow. How I Met Your Mother ends like this in season 1 😢
I do also think they learned their lesson from the original by having all of the interactions with the kids pre recorded so the actors stayed the same age. Not showing the kids and thus showing their race allows the writers some breathing room if they decide to change the story down the road
Nothing will ever be better than How I Met Your Mother, especially with Barney not being a main character. However this was a nice sequel and this could still be somewhat decent. It took me five months after watching the first episode of HIMYF to watch the next episode and then six more months to finish it and now I’m sad it’s “over”. This will never be HIMYM level, but this show still can be great.
During a stand up routine. Of course plans change and the son was expecting Jessie and Sophie’s kiss to be perfect, so I kinda disagree with it being sid
@@guidopasquetto911nothing is ever as good as the original (Star wars), but at least the series was being continued. It’s nice to know two decades later people still cared to make shows where an idiot tried to and did find love.😂
@@Jahnavi4464I know that's exactly what I said I hate it when they cancel good shows that are just getting good and then get canceled for no reason not to mention that show won Hulu and Emmy
Ok, so between a previous episode where a psychic said Jesse would die and this music, my guess is that they are going to kill off Jesse, Sid and Sophie have a child and name him Jesse.
“I thought you said it was perfect” The son was expecting the kiss to be perfect. So my theory cause the show was cancelled cause of the writers strike. Is that Jessie and Sophie would date. Break each others heart. Drama drama Ian drama drama Sid drama dram back to Jessie. Now I guess you could argue that the son was responding to adult Sohie calling the kiss perfect before the coughed. But still I read it as him expecting it to be perfect myself
I think Jesse is dead in the future. I think he was to be the father, but something happens before it happened!. Towards the end of the last ever few episodes there will be tears. Why would future Sophie have Jesse’s picture on the wall, it could not be this straightforward!.
THE UMBRELLA INCIDENT AND THE PHONE INCIDENT AND THE FACT THAT SID'S AND SOPHIE'S NAME START FROM THE SAME LETTER LIKE TED'S AND TRACEY'S. What makes you think
@@sarcasticismysecondname The father has to be someone who was at Sid and Hannah's engagement party and they already did the thing where Drew was at the party too. If they repeated that, it would be too repetitive.
@@A.D.M99 The father has to be someone who was at Sid and Hannah's engagement party and they already did the thing where Drew was at the party too. If they repeated that, it would be too repetitive.
the thing is that I really like the idea of Jesse and Sophie being endgame because I feel like they're both so funny together and have such really heartfelt moments, but I don't trust this show to do something so traditional even if it is the most charming. I really like them together, but I'm trying hard to not get invested..
oh dang, after reading the comments, i googled it and it really does look like there's no renewal for a 3rd season... kinda in shock... but i guess that's good for my investment in jesse and sophie...
As far as the show goes, I believe Jesse is not the father. Even though it is cancelled, I still think the journey has just begun for Sophie and the gang. This could still be a 7 season series in the next 10 years.
@Actionfan19 its less that the show sucked, but it's more that the show was going on during the strikes, so it's collateral damage from that. The show was getting better in season 2 but the strike killed it
Maybe play with time a little bit more. And maybe do an episode where Sophie gets to spend a night in a mailbox room of her mom's condos and he helps her. Even as a B Plot. It would be awesome to favor them.up. Also, hire Kelsey Grammer to get the mail there too. Sophie might have spranned her right ankle too.
Well if the show doesn't get picked up for another season then you can say they stayed together 😂. In saying that I am hoping it dose get pickup for more seasons I love this show 😍 I’m team Sophie and Jessie 😍
I guess it's some kind of organized packing technique that Hannah has used in the past. But this time she hasn't because she was in a rush to get away from the guy she kissed. Meaning: She KNEW if she had stayed longer, much more would've happened and she needed / wanted to get to Sid instead. But the damage has been done already. Sid realized this when he found out she couldn't get away faster from L.A.
This show was a light watch. sad that it got cancelled. I enjoyed watching it while doing something. It’s not going to match how I met your mother, but it was still entertaining to watch and figure out who is the father along the way.
Eh? En latam, el final es en donde valentina encuentra una canción que hizo el chico para Sophie y ella puso la cancion en la caja de objetos perdidos.
Friends had similar kind of season finale ending like when Monica and Richard broke up and at the same time Chandler and Janice got together we know finally Monica and Chandler ended up together now here sid and Hannah broke up Sophie and Jesse got together but in the end Sid and Sophie were gonna be the endgame. It's just the rain which makes you think it's similar to himym but friends had similar kind of writing too except for the rain.
as much as i dislike this theory i think it’s the most plausible. during this scene the song “forever young” plays and there were two (or three) instances that basically tells us that jesse is going to die, this song& the episode with madame deborah & the fact that 2050 sophie looked sad as she told her son the story means jesse is not the father (plus the son didn’t know who was in the picture that she has in her living room) i think the son is jesse & sophie’s kid but i think jesse passed away when their kid was just born & that is her way of telling him about his father??? or maybe sophie & sid fell in love later on (provided that sid & hannah got divorced after she told him about the fling with eli) and sid decided to be the “father” of the son???
Okay....here is my theory... I feel like we are not introduced with the father yet... As much as I want it to be Sid .. I don't think it will be Sid... I feel like when we are actually introduced with the father, the narration would be sth like"and that's how i met your father" ... The other male characters are already called by their names during the narration.. sooo....
That df not Charlie's kid I can see the writers getting Valentina pregnant, possible with Drew but that not working out and Charlie steps up as a step parent.
You know that Charlie and Val having kids together contradicts the message of the original show that not everyone has to have kids to be fulfilled with Robin having a successful career after finding out she can’t have kids.
TLDR: The show’s message isn’t about providing a one-size-fits all guide to life, it’s about figuring out what is important to you I don’t think what you said was the main message of the original show. I think it was just about navigating adulthood and deciding what is important to you. Each character had a different set of struggles, as they figured out what they wanted and what they were willing to do. For Ted, he wanted to find love and start a family, even if it meant making mistakes and pushing on without losing hope. For Robin, she wanted to focus on her career and herself, with the desire for a love life and family brewing in the back of her mind, but not really manifesting until she found out she was infertile. For Marshall, he wanted a career he could be proud of, even if it meant turning down a corporate job with money, which wasn’t so easy when his family faced financial troubles or when Lily wanted to move to Italy. For Lily, she wanted to be an artist and be independent, but also wanted to be a supportive wife and mother. For Barney, he was just trying to be awesome, eventually becoming humbled by falling in love with Robin and then by having a daughter, realizing being awesome isn’t all he wanted. Adulthood is tricky. There’s no one-size-fits all, despite what some people say. Everyone wants something different, we’re all on our own journeys, and it’s up to each of us to balance our lives, make sacrifices, and decide what is most important to us. For Val, having kids was important, and Charlie needed to make the sacrifice if he wanted to be with her, which he eventually did, because being with her was more important than his desire to be childless.
That was consistent with Robin's character. Charlie only didn't want kids because of his abusive mother. It's obvious he got over it and became ready to be a dad
@@entersandshrew4230 I never said it was the main message, it was simply one of the important ones. And I still think that was a bad decision for Charlie to compromise his want’s because some couples are not meant to be and everyone always wants a couple to stay forever and always want the same things which in reality is not realistic. Charlie and Val could have found other partners that would have satisfied their needs but nope we get the typical cliches that everyone wants instead of what’s realistic and unique
@@jakebarton2528 In reality, everyone makes compromises. If Charlie chose to remain childless, he would have compromised a life with Val. It is cliche to choose love over your own goals, but it’s cliche for a reason, it’s the more popular thing to do. Not saying it’s the right or wrong thing, but just more common. Also, who knows, Val is probably going to have to give something up for Charlie as well. They may have potentially found other partners more suited to them, but they didn’t want those other partners in the end, they wanted each other. It’s like how at the end of season 1 of the original show, Ted gets a chance with a woman through the match site who is objectively right for him, but he realizes he wants Robin instead. He compromises the logical choice and follows what he actually desires. In real life, people often want what is logistically difficult, but they make it work somehow, often through sacrifice
