It's sad that this show was cancelled, it was shaping up to be decent. I was interested to find out the father's identity, as well as how Charlie and Valentina had Alex, and Sid dealing with the break up of his marriage.

For me , the best thing about that show was the unnlikely freindship of Ellen and Charles😅. They were the two with the best chemistry and it was unexpected for me , and i also love Charles' story alone.

Remember first few episodes I felt they were a little awkward and forced, but as episodes went on, everything felt more natural, episodes were getting better as well as the characters. Found myself getting so excited about series, but IT'S got CANCELED? I'M SO DISAPPOINTED :( Loved it so much and were rooting and loving all of them. Finally, my new comfort show after friends.😢 I thought. Just unfortunate 😢

I’m not surprised the show got cancelled, but I am disappointed I’m left with so many questions. I only watched it because I love Hillary Duff since Lizzie Maguire and I love Francia Raisa. I like the character who plays Sid too.

Was mad when they cancelled the show. Loved it. Glad that they said what happened to Charlie and Val, but would love to know about Sid and his wife and if Jesse was the father. Also was looking forward to seeing what Sophie's son looked like.

I think Sid is the father. I don't think he and Sophie are end game, but they do have undeniable chemistry, and given her history with Sid's bestie, it would make for interesting drama. In fact, Jesse could be the reason why Sid and Sophie don't end up as a couple even if they end up co-parenting.

Definitely Sid. They had great chemistry. Also, they didn't show the son talking to Sophie and just had his voice. He would have mixed ethnicities which would obviously show who the father was.

I mean, they could not have shown the kid because he was Whit, and that would have immediately ruined the "who is it" aspect. Honestly, it was smart for showing the kid because we'd immediately deduce who the father is based on the racial identity of the actor in the role. Also, it was practical, by not having to explain their aging (if the show ran long), having the writers had the ability to change outcomes organically unlike the original series who filmed its ending years before the show actually ended with those young actors so they were pigeonholed into an ending that no longer felt right for the characters 10 years later

I had a feeling that Hulu might do something like this. This is very disappointing as I was looking forward to what's next for everyone. I wish we could petition Hulu or another platform or even a network say CBS save this show the way PopTv saved Netflix's One Day at a Time

I'm so freaking frustrated, mad, very upset! Geez HIMYM was on regular TV, HIMYF is on a streaming channel ! Not a lot of people have streaming channels ! This irritates me to no end ! The people in charge didn't give HIMYF a chance..... geez ! People in charge of Netflix, now I'm adding Hulu and other streaming channels are cancelling shows way, way to fast ! I'm sick of this ! great point. shows need time for growing pains. casts need to grow chemistry, writers need time to attach to a tone and reoccuring themes, audiences need time to grow and love the show. shows should not get cancelled at this current rate. i don't know why you would greenlight anything and expect it to go viral after 1-2 seasons.

I shipped Sid & Sophie from the 1st episode. While I get most people think Jesse is the father/end game, and the producers feel the same, I just think they were going in that direction due to: * Pressure from the higher-ups, $$$ rules everything (unfortunately). Also, with the WG/SAG strike (even if the show had been given another season, with the strike, it would be pushed further and further into the future). I'm so ready to get rid of all my TV's, cable/streaming/PPV, etc. I am so tired of a small, non-diverse group of old, saggy white guys telling me what is/isn't a good TV show and/or movie. The streaming corporations really need to LISTEN to the people who WATCH the show. They MUST LISTEN to the people who PAY THEIR SALARY!!! If I am paying you for a service, do your job and provide the services I am PAYING YOU FOR!!! JMHO

I recently rewatched the two seasons. There are quite a few Easter eggs that hint that Sid and Sophie were endgame. I really wish Hulu had given then show more time. After all, HIMYM wasn’t a hit when it first came out either. Also, I never picked up on all the hints that Jesse died.However, HIMYM left so many Easter eggs throughout the years that were hard to pick up on until you saw every season, it makes perfect sense that’s what the show did with Jesse.

I'm upset it was canceled. Unfortunately, I think it was canceled, in part, due to the strikes. There's always bound to have shows canceled because of strikes. It's happened before. BUT the other issue is streaming. These companies WANT, NAY DEMAND, you watch these shows immediately. They don't give shows time anymore. They want it watched the week the episodes air and if it doesn't get watched, per their stats, they axe it. It's the Netflix model and most of not all streaming companies are following this. I loved most of those characters and my husband and I really enjoyed this show. But due to it's cancellation, because he was invested, it reminds him of the Fox era of cancellations so now he doesn't want to touch new shows unless it's finished.

No, you’re not alone. I really don’t think she has chemistry with any of them except Ian, and we get so little of them together. Sid and Hannah work for me, and Sid and the girl he met on the airplane because of them bonding over their situation, but I like to think Hannah wins Sid back in the future.

This show had two seasons to get me to care about its characters and it only managed to do it with Jesse's sister and the british guy. Sophie is such a bore. And any hope that they could use a little part of this show to fix the mess of the HIMYM's ending, died with Robin's guest appearance. Though it wasn't a surprise the creator of HIMYM was basically doing a self insert fantasy were he got the girl, he regrets nothing about that ending... In conclusion, boring show, nothing was learn, and it's cancellation is no tragedy.

I think Sid COULD be the father. However! I think Jesse being dead in 2050 is too obvious. I would hate that the ending goes The same way HIMYM did. I think what happens is Jesse can’t have kids. So they ask Sid to be the father through donation. I imagine the ending going into an accident Jesse is involved in, making the audience think he’s dead, but ultimately just being injured to the point he can’t have children. Bittersweet, but at least he would live.

Jessie would be so freaking predictable though and honestly I could care less about Sophie and Jessie tbh. They were cute for a little bit and then it became like any other tv romance will they or won’t they angle. I felt Sophie literally better chemistry or dynamic with other guys. There’s so many other relationships/friendships to explore. It’s such a shame the show got cancelled.

still pissed they cancelled this show....I am getting really sick of seeing good shows get axed while garbage ( mostly reality shows...yes I'm serious. IMO they're basically all garbage with very few exceptions ) stay around way too long. I will say it was genius of them to have the show framed in the opposite way as its predecessor, with us seeing older Sophie rather than the kid/s. Had we seen her future son in those segments, the question of who the father is wouldn't be as broad to guess at. Can some other network or service PLEASE save the show so we can get answers?

Ok, everyone is making a big deal about Sophie getting the "Perfect Picture" back after a taxi drives off with it. Sophie is the person who took the picture, she will have the negative and can just reprint the picture. Easy, peasy!! I am really bummed that HIMYF was canceled. If another streamer took over, I would follow. Having said that, if the people at Hulu are smart, they will either reverse the cancelation or make a 1 hour "movie" to give fan's answer and 🤞🤞🤞restore our broken heart 💔💔💔. Jmho

In my opinion, being a very huge fan of HIMYM, How I Met Your Father was better in being funny than the first show. Do not forget that even HIMYM needed more than 1 season or 2 seasons, to be loved. So How I Met Your Father needs too. They do not cancel awful shows but they cancelled that? The writing, if you re watch the episodes is very clever and well written.

Disney owns the franchise. It's being a sequel to how I met your mother hurt it, people expected more but it wasn't what they expected lizzie Mcguire but titled as how I met your father.

I am very sad! Although after the 1st season they prolonged the show for two more seasons, without any warning they cancel the show after season 2. I was not a fan of season 1, but season 2 grew on me, and it was much better that season 1. I still hope some other network will pick it up. I would sign a petition or two if there is any. But if they were planning to end this show the way they ended HIMYM, I wonder whether I even should be sad. After so many dissapointed fans of HIMYM (and rightfully so!) if they would have repeated the story by literally killing a huge build up, I pass.
