Hilary Duff has expressed her gratitude to the LGBTQ+ community for continuously supporting her career 🌈
Ahead of the release of Hulu's How I Met Your Father, which sees Hilary in the lead role as Sophie, the star reflects on how her queer fans have "supported" her from the "very beginning" when no one else would take her seriously.

Hilary has always been a real one There’s a genuine quality to her you don’t find in many places especially in show biz. I’m glad she escaped the child star past so effortlessly and was always classy and a good person. It wasn’t easy I’m sure but she did it and her kids have such an amazing mom!

She was my first crush when I was in elementary school. I didn’t think I was attracted to the same gender but I had her posters on my ceiling and around my mirror and I could not stop talking about her to everyone 😂 The gays really do love her
