If you're first time in a gym and the trainer asks you to bang out 100 pushups, that trainer has no idea what they are doing and shouldn't be training others.....
Good show but I cannot watch it anymore because of the fucking laugh track. Those things need to be included in the Geneva Convention and abolished worldwide.
She was right to say that, it was so offensive of all of them to make fun of her because she didnt care about looking pretty while working out, and since he obviously didn't do anything, he kinda had that one coming
I love the end where they make Ted go workout with the crazy lady. As much as I want to judge him for wimping out, I have to admit that his squats are still better than mine, LOL.
@@iwantlee9510 exactly. and also, 100 push ups in a row are worthless, training-wise. She didn't say, like, 5x20 or 30-20-30-20 e.g., but just "do 100 push ups". I call bs
@@MikeJones1989 Idk what you're talking about, he's made the biggest sacrifices for his friends and honestly would be a great bro to party with. I would definitely want a Barney in my life but he'd have to almost exactly like this Barney.
Still can't comprehend how seeing a love interest sweaty and working their muscles is a turn off. But I am really, REALLY gay, so that might be an aspect of it.
It’s the same way that I don’t enjoy myself when I am, sweaty, dirty, or lathered in foam. I don’t want to feel myself, let alone someone else. It is a massive turn off for me.
Well, maybe the context matters the most. Ted wasn't "ugly" at sight, like Robin became while working out. But he was pitiful. That can be a turn off, at least for me. 😂
I hate lilly, especially in this episode. She gets super jealous of marshall when he gets an attractive trainer, but yet she'll be with a complete stranger to work out with, and then tell Marshall that he had no affiliation with the gym. Which is it Lilly?
Gym trainers like the one in this video are a key reason why I'm very apprehensive towards going to the gym. And I feel that a lot of gym trainers act like this.
You realise this is a sitcom where ordinary situations are exaggerated and pushed to extremes all the time? Yes some gym trainers will push you a little but nothing remotely close to this....
@@detectivemask Based on what? Do you really think gym trainers like this would keep their customers?? It seems like you just don't want to go to the gym. Which is fine but don't come up with these wack excuses.
@@detectivemask I know a few trainers. Any trainer who acts like that is a bad trainer and shouldn’t be doing their job. They’re supposed help you improve yourself, not bully you.
After Marshall said something commitment to his body by driving to Vernont , if you look closely I like how Lilly was like “ya not worried about his game” and just walked away cause she wasn’t even worried about him cheating or the girl be into him at all after that .
To be honest, who starts with 100 push ups? And the question marshall should be asking is "what sets and how much rest?". For a beginner, 20*5 with 2 minute rest should suffice as chest and tricep workout for the entire day tbh...
That "gone" from Ted was really hurtful and inconsiderate. I feel terrible for Robin even though she's a fictional character. I guess because I have a similar look sometimes 😂
This trainer reminds me a lot of my trainer only so much more controlling. Don't get me wrong the workouts are really difficult and benefit me greatly but my trainer is nicer
