@@anthonyzoldork8557 Yes Ted and Robin were never meant to be. and Marshall lost the bet when Ted married Tracy and Barney and Robin got back together.
and for what reason did the 400 infants in syria got bombed? For what reason are there millions of hungry people around the world. Why is that the good guys won in world war 2, yet chengis khan won every battle killing thousands and raping hundreds on his way. why did gandhi got shot by his own country man. . the thing i m trying to tell you is that universe is random. Theres rarely any reason for destiny. Theres no God up there looking at all our deeds and saying, "this kid loves that girl, Okay, in 10 years I am going to give that girl to her" Mind you I m not depressed or sad. I am a very optimistic person. But my optimism does not come from the faith that a nice guy is sitting up there with notebook for good and bad deeds. It comes from the belief that I can work hard enough to get whatever I want and if I fail, I can move on to other things. Be optimistic about yourself man, not about the ways of universe.
The use of music and visuals along with the constant backtracking in this series to things that you thought where just filled but came back as huge plot points how I met your mother maybe the best written show of all time
I went thru the same thing in my life and trust me that the pain which Ted felt in that moment is beyond everything. It is 2 years since I heard "NO" and I am still not OK with it.
This just happend to be I’m absolutely devastated we had something then it slowly faded and it reminded me of this, I think I’ll send it to her, might get a laugh, I also can’t let go of her because she’s one of my best friends and even though it hurts that I love her and she lost feelings towards me not having her in my life would hurt even more
"When a door closes... well you know the rest" Yeah, cause when a door shuts in my face when I'm trying to walk through it. Oh, I don't know you get hurt cause it hits you in the face.
Bob Saget's ending narration always struck me as odd. Ted says he was finally free to not linger on his feelings for Robin from that point onward. But Ted had hardly showed any romantic interest for Robin for the past 3 seasons or so. So there was really no need to have an episode dedicated to Ted getting over Robin. As we now know, the narration is a big fat lie. This episode was not about putting Ted's feelings to rest, but rather to re-introduce them. To re-ignite them. Which means Ted is straight up lying to his kids here. Wish they would have gone about this whole plotline in a different way.
darthen856 hen ?! what? Who lies? why? listen people, you must drop the conspiracy theory, it's really a daube !!!! storytelling is the strength of this show and yes on every occasion the feelings that Ted and Robin had for each other have resurfaced, he said that at that time he felt relieved not to cling to the slightest chance of living with Robin, and it was true ... it's very realistic, when you really love someone, the hope of being with this person is renewed every time, we lose this hope for a moment and then ... we find it as the first day... (NOT YET ...)
darthen856 thank you! exactly what I've been saying all along, the writers may have wanted to make Ted and Robin the main story but they failed at that big time, their story was pushed aside had barely existed for the past 3 seasons where as you said, neither of them showed any romantic interest towards the other, clearly here, they wanted to bring Ted and Robin back to life after a long break so that ending up together in the finale wouldn't come out of nowhere.. but even then, it didn't go anywhere, all they did from that moment on was the remind us that Ted was still in love with Robin but that's it, nothing changed, nothing happened.. looking back knowing how it ends and why, you could totally see the corner they had written themselves to, they didn't have much to do with them for 9 seasons , so they filled time with other stories and then tried to keep them as much as possible on the map.. they didn't plan this all thing right, that's why the ending was terrible among other reasons, and they should've taken responsibility and been brave to change their old plan based on how things had changed and developed and sure enough, they both aren't 100% complete with what they did which they said in 3 interviews
Robin is better suited, non pun, for Barney. Sad they couldn’t make it work. That being said, I would have been all for Ted getting back with Robin had they never created the Ted/Robin/Barney love triangle in the first place.
I don't see it that way, because Robin really wasn't in love with Ted as he was with her, to the point of doing crazy things to make her happy. Robin didn't fight for him, she didn't fight to try again after they broke up, she wasn't as affected by their breaking up as Ted. Instead with Barney you can see that Robin suffers, she gets jealous, she fights to get back together. Robin loved Ted but not the way she loved Barney, more romantic love
Fights to get back together? Lmao, I don't get how some ppl can be like "NO SHE DID NOT LIKE TED" and then do a full 180 and say "Barney and Robin were endgame
Robin had just broken up with a guy she loved enough to get engaged to, a few months earlier, she loved Barney enough to cheat on sweet nice Kevin with him and almost leave Kevin for him so I really don’t think she also loved Ted at this point
@@zaid2110 Why are you so Bumed? I know it's because no one cares about your shitty ship(T+R). And Robin was more open and became herself with Barney because he doesn't judge her on her flaws. Ted on the other hand tried to force his ideal wife image into Robin which pressurizer her to become ideal mate and submissive trait. He didn't like the fact she is independent proving Ted and Robin are the worst couple of the show.
Purple, it is the mix between the mother and robin. Everything associated with the mother is yellow most predominantly the yellow umbrella. Everything associated with Robin is blue. The blue French horn being the major symbol. This is the cross over between moving on from robin and the beginning of finding the mother. Yellow and Blue mixed together is Purple. The writing on this show is so creative and deep.
see people loving ending of the show is crazy it was shit breaking up robin and barny was weird and unnecessary but 2nd part was even more crazy killing tracy and making ted get back to robin in litteraly last series unexplainable i refuse to believe any fan loves ending all himym fan refuses real ending and considers alternate ending as a real. true story
Shake It Out from Florence + the Machine Grew old (9y) with How I Met Your Mother, can’t lie, i love them cause of this show. Somehow the scene plus the song as the background music, heavenly matched.
Oh my God, the friendzone is not a thing. If someone doesn't want to sleep with you, they don't and that's ok. It works both ways, you know. Girls can be too. But it's not the friendzone. It's literally just someone not wanting to be with someone who wants to.
rionamusic not at all true their is a difference between sleeping with something and making love with someone I'm pretty sure you know the difference by now
The point I was originally trying to make was that 1. It's not just men who have the supposed friendzone but also it's not as black and white as that. It's not a zone. It's a state of mind which someone has
