I’ve been buying so many products.. I thought putting heavy leave- in and stylers moisturizers my hair it just sit on top and I end up washing my hair afterwards 😩🙄

Omg. Im today yrs old when I learned I have to squeeze in water/products. It worked. I’m low porosity. Recovering frm protein overload.

Beautiful and brilliant! I just discovered that I have “extremely low porosity hair” after a visit to a popular black hair stylist in my area. The split ends had travelled all the way up the shaft. Had to do a big chop sort of but I’m glad to be on a healthy hair journey!

I have low porosity and I find spraying it with warm green tea on most days helps with moisture.

@@brownskinbeauty. yes, regular green tea bags, just take 1 bag and put a little water, when it cool enough spray it in your hair. You can also do green tea rinse after washing your hair, before applying your deep conditioner. I also sometimes sprits my hair with warm green tea then apply my pre-poo.

Amen to all that you said Tianna! And I am SO glad that I’m not the only one who has “extremely” low porosity hair. 😊 I don’t go anywhere near those creamy looking shampoos because they leave a coating on my hair. Same with regular conditioners which sole purpose is to coat the strands. So just deep conditioners and light ones at that because it has a much smaller molecular structure. I just recently started using Alikay Naturals sage deep conditioner, and I am in Love 😍!! It’s definitely going to be a staple, as I find many like the Shea Moisture deep conditioners too thick. And as for oils...... I tried for years to make them work especially since everybody says you have to seal with an oil or butter. Well my hair ain’t having it!! After just over 10 years of a very frustrating “journey”, i can honestly say that things are finally turning around, and I absolutely love my coils. So it really is a case of finding out what works for YOUR hair, and the only way to do that is by trying different things. So glad I didn’t give up. 🤗 Thanks for sharing sis.

Lol I use this shoelace that I have to do my first Puff since my big chop and I don’t think I’ll ever not use it 🤣I may not have a lot of hair now since I’m at 4 months but that shoelace will def be giving me my Lil puff for school September 💀

do you have any advice on taming wildly frizzy natural hair? I can’t seem to find products that can help me with that and it’s crazy :( i’m low porosity also

Frizz is usually from lack of moisture or living in a humid environment. I would suggest evaluating the techniques you use to moisturize your hair. I have plenty of videos showing the products and techniques I use for reference

If it’s warm/hot whe you fill the bottle, I’m sure it’s still warm though it may feel cold as your scalp may just be cold in general, however you could use warmer water to be safe
