I agree, Notion can be overly complicated which is what's so great about Trello, it's easy to get started and stay focused. Did you know that if you put a 🎉 emoji in the title of your DONE list, confetti will explode every time you drag something into your done list?!?! it's so satisfying
This is awesome! I’m currently using my Google calendar in the same way and it’s just amazing. But I’ve yet to figure out how I’d like to use Trello for YT so this was a great to see 👍
OMG I LOVE GOOGLE CALENDAR SO MUCH, it such a lifesaver and makes me so productive!! I love your colour scheme - I have a brown/neutral theme atm for mine! I definitely agree, when your calendar is aesthetic, you get way more motivated to actually stick to your calendar - that's one of the reasons I love bullet journaling! Your calendar is low key making me want to quit my job and do freelance social media management 😅😭

I don't know why we all don't just get rid of these nuisance jobs and dive into what we REALLY would prefer to do all day. Do you currently do SMM on the side? If so, where can I find your information or platforms?
Oh you use google calender. I found it is hard when moving time or so in this tool. But it is a good option if you use gmail. Maybe they need improve a bit user friendly function in google calender😂 When I saw your schedule, it seems very lean and organised. I need to work it out😂
Hahah don't worry it took so much time for me to get my calendar to look this way. I use gmail so its super easy for me to intergrate different things into my Google calendar. But find what's best for you!! ❤️

I am happy you mentioned that you had tried Notion. I found this video because I am currently trying to decide whether to use the Google Calendar/Trello combo (I already use Trello and I love it), or to try Notion which I've been hearing more and more about. My goal is to find something that allows me to organize LIFE overall, not just work projects, and not have to create a million separate boards for each big bucket. So having used Notion, would you say that if you had organized it better for your own needs it would be the better all-in-one option that using the Google Cal/Trello combo? Or would you still go with the combo, and why?
Aw thank you so much, I'm glad you found this video helpful! I show you how I use each tool in my work vlogs! Notion to me was too complicated, I like Trello because it is simple. I mainly just need a big to-do list and to know what days I am doing them and that's it. Notion is great if you need more than that. I would say even if I had Notion I would still be using Google Calendar just because it is easy to time block on there and you can send invites to other people if you have plans with others. @@cassrwong It helps. Thank you! I think my attraction to the idea of Notion is the addition of having someplace to keep longer notes or 'brain dumps', book excerpts, etc.
The biggest problem with notion is it looks ugly. A white paper, no more no less. By contrast Trello allows you to set photos as background which looks so sick.
for notion you can make it really pretty but it’s quite complex and takes a lot of effort. trello, in terms of everything, is a lot more simpler. people usually se it for organizing their work, but i think it’s great for school
