@JulioHernandez-ml1dw It's part of Focus Quest now, called the focus log and you can get it for free. Check out Focus Quest on our website under shops.
@@KoiAcademy hey man, the focus log doesn't have sprints or look like this template. Am I missing something? How can I download the exact template that is in this video.
you spend more time using notion to organize things than doing directly things. I was a superorganizer person but i understood that trying to organize everything is not only a loss of time but also an illusion. Life is full of imprevists and unexpected things.
The problem with Notion is that it has a lot of tools and you want to use them all, you waste a lot of time trying to create a perfect routine so that in the end you don't do 1% of what you put into it. I think Notion works for people who already have great discipline, fixed schedules and have followed a routine for a long time.
Wow, your Notion setup is a game-changer! 🤩I've been meshing it with boost app social for my social media management. It's perfect for those creative blocks when planning content. Helps keep the creativity flowing!
@@KoiAcademyHello Cajun Koi academy, I was wondering if I can get the old template instead of the updated one, I like the old one was better and more organized
As a person having difficulties staying motivated and productive lately, I must say that this system is helping me A LOT right now. Thank you so much for giving this for free. I feel that if you are the procrastinator type of person like me you should give this a try. it adds gamification to tasks and I'm really here for it. 🚀
I'm a 33 year old single parent about to go back to school in a few weeks. I've been looking for tools to help me stay on top of work, school, and home projects and tasks as I'm heading into this season of madness and I believe you have just changed my life in the immediate future in a massive positive way. This is a stellar video. Thank you.
I am so glad to hear that! Please keep me posted on your journey because I would love to celebrate and support you every step of your way! Thank you for making my day, haha.
I think I started using Notion through you and I'm still using it daily! I have to deal with ADHD and it's been such a great tool to manage it. My mind is often plagued by random ideas, things to do and inspiration, so I'm very happy to be able to dump it in a specific tab without much effort. Yesterday when I was sorting my work project notes in my word doc, I was thinking of moving them to Notion, so this video has a great timing. Thanks!
Since you mentioned ADHD his style of video is also really cool for people who may have trouble focusing :D Dunno if i just noticed it but he makes his videos really visual
@Nem87 having struggle with ADHD myself I've tried several other programs and am constactly searching for a better system. Have you tried Trello? I'm curious as to what advantage Notion has over Trello (that's free to use).
@@jeffreyspiker sorry for the late reply! I have used trello as a student for project management. To be fair, I haven't used it ever since. But from a quick look on the app and site, it still seems to be a project management tool that's great for collabs and work. From what I've seen you can't edit much. Notion is very customisable, allowing you to do whatever you want with it. Changing tab names, changing the format of a tab. Having different formats in 1 tab. You can do project management, but also private to do list, your own wiki and data dump. I keep all sorts of lists and texts there. I think that's what I would miss if I would use Trello. Because I have really broad interests and activities, I like to categorise them and make an info dump per category. So Notion is great for that. I do feel overwhelmed quickly, so I'm using it as in info dump and to-do list for now. I recommend also slowly getting familiar with it. Trello might be a bit more straight forward in that aspect. I'm using the free version of Notion and don't really feel the need to upgrade to a paid version at the moment. You could always give it a try :) I've tried other management apps until I found the one right for me
I'm SO SO THANKFUL to you for making this video! I don't know if you'll see this comment or not, but I downloaded Notion and had no idea how to efficiently use it. It was very underwhelming for me. I have been trying for almost a week now to be disciplined and productive and not waste my school life doing nothing and your channel has helped me a LOT. I am trying to get into a tough institute, and I need to be punctual and sincere to keep up with everything, and your channel really really helps me with that.Again thank you for this awesome video. Way to go for 1 million subs!
Cannot thank you enough for making this template free for us, and the timing of this video! Literally discovered Notion last week and have quickly realised a tool a like this is what I've needed for so long but the resources/possibilities have got a little overwhelming and most other tutorials end with a cost, which contradicts the reasons I'm learning this. You have helped ground me in the flood of knowledge and mistakes learning this tool. From one aspiring creator to one that knows exactly what he's doing and what vibes he wants to exert into the world - thank you
I'm trying to get into Notion, and I'm currently just doing some research and watching videos to choose my best 'starting' template. Do you have any advice for me. I mainly want to use it to manage my personal projects, future goals, and log my finances.
I appreciate your kind words! Hope its more clearer now! Do keep an eye on Extended brain as well! It's our paid content but it's the most extensive and complete notion template we've ever made. I definitely think you'll appreciate it!
Thank you for being so kind to give out this robust project planner. I am certain that it will help boost my productivity since I tend to have trouble planning and beginning my tasks
16:24 - Fun fact: Windows, Mac, Linux... You can store your files in one place. Then you create [symbolic links/shortcuts] to that file or document. Then the shortcuts can be duplicated and saved anywhere you would like. This keeps your original file in tact and you don't end up with 1 billion versions of the same document with different saved states.
@@amanofculture4845 place your file in the folder you want it to live in. Then right click the file, create shortcut, then move that shortcut anywhere else on your system. That shortcut can be copy/pasted anywhere. Win11: Press the Shift key on your keyboard, right-click the item, and then select the Create shortcut option from the menu. MacOS: it’s called make alias Linux: Right-click on the file, click on Copy to, and select destination as Desktop
I wanted to organize my life, I'm successful in many areas but organizing it all has been all done in my head, that leads me to forgetting important task or rushing jobs. I watched this video and I think I will give it a try, I have never heard of you before but I'm glad the youtube universe sent me your way. Thanks for the helpful content
Absolutely fantastic template!! I've watched the video twice, downloaded and set up the template, and I'll definitely be using this from now on. Thank you for making this!!!
Thank you soo much for your template and your video ! It was the most helpful out there on youtube in a world where everyone wants you to pay to get their templates, you are the only one that did the opposite !
Thank you for the project planner, it is great to have a board view of multiple work and business projects as well as having personal (unmissable) tasks in one view and in multiple platforms. Also a nice way to getting introduced to Notion.
ok, I am going to have to watch this again multiple times. I struggle with being organized being a creative person and I am not sure this may be a bit much for my organizational needs, but wow, you have me wanting to learn more Notion. I have just started and find it really complicated. I use to use Trello which seemed much easier and more visual for me. :) Thanks for sharing. You are doing awesome work.
I appreciate for the introduction video, I found it very helpful and for those beginners please just simply need to start easy. Dont stress yourself over too much planning. 🎉
thanks for saving my life! i've been searching for this kind of video to help me maintain all the project for an easy way and of course it's free bc i've been trying so many apps before and it charge me.
big bro i am a kitsune and your templates saved my life so ill try to get this template when i have enough money shoutout from turkey and in 2 months goin to america!
The best thing what i feel after using all this productivity apps is Just add a reminder to your reminder app in your iPhone or android and it will remind you for the particular work, in case you don’t remember things usually.
Just use the PARA Method. Yours is quite intimidating and very complicated. Not to mention that it is personalize to your needs. Just make it simple and less stressful

Thank you so much, i have been having panic about my future lately. I do so much in a day that i forget about it and i tried to find some template but they were bit costly but thanks for sharing it for free.
I am keen to get started and just exploring Notion. 2 Qs re the meeting part: 1) Did you upload the meeting as a recording onto Notion to utilise the AI feature? 2) And if recordings can be uploaded, can it also duly transcribe them?
Thank you very much for this video and for the free template. I've been wanting to start using Notion for a long time, but its complexity always deterred me. With this template, everything looks much simpler, and it has everything I need
You know, as a software developer, you really seem to be incorporating a large portion of SCRUM techniques, minus the meeting of course. You definitely do some things differently, but I find it interesting to see a non-developer use this approach. Keep up the great videos!
Just outstanding! Thank you from the bottom of my heart I have only one question please, what's the difference between projects and sprints ? I didn't get this point
this looks insane! still haven't tested this template yet and I also kinda hate notion because it looks too complicated but I am FOR SURE gonna try that out the
It helps to first learn the basics of Notion. It definitely has a steep learning curve but once you get the basics, it's all smooth sailing then! Good luck!
I think using notion in this way is a little bit tedious and exhausted because of wasting too much time to manage everything. That's only my personal opinion.
I think you need to put up a stronger disclaimer managing people expectations on this. Clearly there was a ton of effort put into the updated version after experiencing the course, but that, and whats shown in this video are two totally different things. Please have their be a link to the version featured in this video. Kinda feels like a bait'n'switch. I am just learning about notion and the experience is maddening.
My problem with Notion is that at the end of the day it’s NOT a real database (in the programming sense), so you end up with a clunky UX but also an extremely limited database which forces you to do crazy workarounds and hacks to model your data. I’d say use 3-4 dedicated well made tools instead of Notion or if you’re a developer code your own tool.
Wooow , I just watched your video, very good and useful video, it's been a long time since I watched a notion video well explained, and the template looks well structured.
I love Notion for notes, compiling info/wikis, but not for project/task management. Asana/Clickup/Monday etc are way better suited. it's not even close
Im confused, I made a Notion account and got your template but I dont know how to add tasks, and such. There is no new button, Projects, Sprints, etc are greyed out and not clickable. I must have missed something.
I was looking to create something that is similar to the CCC system mentioned, but that would work with calendars and projects. Currently my notes and task ideas are spread over multiple apps. Solid work on this! I do find it misleading not to mention the fact that the template is not free in its form anymore and has been replaced by a less functional version apparently
Genuine question: I found this channel about a year and a half ago before I began college, and I am a Remnote user from it. What caused the switch to Notion? I was under the impression you created Remnote
