Veronica reached out to us with a clear agenda. She wanted to attend a worldwide top 50 MBA program in the UK. Despite multiple attempts, however, she had not been able to improve her GMAT score beyond 640.
Veronica ended up applying to multiple schools with us - and received admit offers from multiple schools as well, along with scholarships worth 25,000 GBP. We caught up with her to learn more about her application journey.
Veronica was working at EY with their global strategy team, often collaborating with senior leaders across various functions and industries. Wanting to move into the CPG domain, she decided to apply for an MBA to build her understanding of the industry and move up the corporate ladder.
While GMAT proved to be a major painpoint in her journey, instead of the low gmat deterring her MBA plans, Veronica adopted a highly pragmatic approach - identify which schools would work out with the score and profile that she had.
We worked closely with Veronica to help her identify the strengths she brought to the table, the unique aspects of her candidacy, and how she could leverage those to get the optimum result during the application process.
