Best advice on RU-vid to pay down loans. I graduated with $260,000 in 2018, put it off because it was such a daunting amount, 2020 came and I just decided to buckle down and pay them off. I’m a pharmacist too…I got a second job and now 2023 I have $120,000 left. I see the light at the end of the tunnel!

Awesome job. I wish other Students have the same mentality of paying off debt and be done with it. I graduated with 225k from pharmacy school. I’m 4 years out with a balance of 68k. I should be done in less than 2 years.

Now is the best time to pay down debt. No going out, no restaurants, no outside paid entertainment, no trips even if you wanted to. Cut down on Amazon and other online shopping that is unnecessary. Goal for 2021 is to make headway into my morgage. Morgage is considered 'good debt' but I would rather have an increase equity.

Congratulations 🎊🍾🎉 my Sista! The sacrifices and struggle was worth it! Many people at the end of a year no matter how much or how little they make can’t account for much of it after rent and bills are paid. It does take people making less a lot longer but the key is starting, there are people it’s taken ten years to pay their debt but they kept at it! Congratulations once more you deserve every success because you worked really long and hard to for it!

Ok so work a second shift - have no life for a year - give up every UN-necessary item in your life and work 18 hrs a day if need be.....good job on paying that off....now what to do if you have no job and 70,000 in student loan debt....? Get a job this I know but I never got to graduate so can't go into that field at all....guess I am stuck with the 7.25 min wage - this will take me longer then a year to pay off .... again congratz on your determination you are awesome!

I have a question to ask. Before I graduated back in Fall 2016, Yah told me not to worry about my student loans and how he have a job lined up for me. I assumed it was my dream job as an animator in Japan. It's 2021 and I work part-time as a costume character performer at a theme park during the summer and fall seasons. I've been working there since 2019. I tried to find a job in my field, but nobody would hire me and I don't have 10+ years of experience. I even applied at fast food, retail jobs and school/day care jobs but I can never pass the interview. I was lucky to get hired at my current job that I will be starting in a fee weeks. All I had to do was draw my answers and have fun and I got hired just like that. My goal is to be an animator/artist working at my dream studio in Japan. The only way for me to get there is to teach English at a company that will sponsor my visa. So I applied for the JET Program which is extremely competitive. Out of 5,000 applicants for the USA, I was one of the 2,000 applicants who made it to the interview in 2019 and 2020 but I didn't pass. In 2021, I didn't even pass the application stage which make no sense to me. So I applied at another teaching job that makes less money. I have no idea on how I will survive and pay for my 3 student loan debts but I'm gonna take that chance. Out of the 3 loans, I'm only paying for one ($125) that went into collections. I also have money put aside for the move in cost but still need to put money aside to buy a plane ticket to Japan and get another macbook pro to replace my old one because I need a macbook to do the art and film related stuff. I was thinking about my student debt and if it was possible to pay off my student debt before leaving to Japan Spring 2022. It's gard to get hired at a job because I have autism and a learning disability in sequential processing disorder. I also have general anxiety disorder and deal with panic attacks every once in awhile. I also chronic migraines and psycosomatic disorder which is a severe type of anxiety. My brain takes all my stress, worries and emotions and coverts it to physical pain. I'm constantly in and out of the hospital all the time. So my question is, If Yah told me not to worry about a job and my student debt, should I try to figure out on how to pay for it or leave it alone.

At first I was like she’s saying “I” a lot so she may not believe in God. But then you finally started speaking my language and then I was all in! I’m here for all of this but I have to pray and make sure I’m not getting an extra job without it being what Gods wants. I know for a fact he has given me the resources and know how to do it and even though I’m married my husband needs my guidance in this area because I know it’s possible!

Hello Beauty Locs! Sorry, I just couldn’t help myself. I’m curious if the spreadsheet formulas you used would apply to credit card debt. My goal is to pay it off within the next two years. It would help if I could see if this is realistic based on my balances and interest rates of each card. And, what amount I would need to commit to each month to make this happen within the 24 month period. Would you mind sharing your formula if it would work? Many thanks.

she failing tell us the average pediatric pharmacist makes 110,000 a year a listen to here at 7:12 to 8:01 about the double times she probably made 200,000 that year . Its easy when you make 200k a year
@TheSimpleFarmacist
@TheSimpleFarmacist 3 года назад
Yes I doubled my salary; I mentioned I was a pharmacist so it's not a secret if people google how much someone makes (pre-taxes) in their profession. I disagree about it being "easy" because I worked almost every single day that year in order to double my salary. And also had to be very strict in spending because double salary increased my taxes exponentially, especially here in California.
