Hi , dr- so you didn't do anatomy from eMRCS and solely from short Snell? Kindly tell me where and how should I have to start? For theory, only snells. Must do mcq from emrcs. Yes, it's possible to do it in 3 months But it depends on your core knowledge.

@@dr.syyedtalha brother recently passed PLAB1 august attempt. Can i compare myself by that for core knowledge? And please tell how to proceed my preparation.. Should I start Short Snell and complete it and then do eMRCS or proceed both side by side? And how to prepare for general surgery portion - do a system and then practice eMRCS?? Thank you

Plab and mrcs are very different. You need core knowledge of anatomy for mrcs.

Wswrwb. Twice or thrice.. Study as you have studied your whole life. Everyone has his own style/study pattern. You can get recalls from any WhatsApp grp or your seniors.

Yes, you can. Only an MBBS degree is required to apply for the MRCS exam.

U can give it in house job. But only if you have good surgical accumen and understanding. Because this exam is surgery oriented.

The exam fee for mrcs A is £607 at this time. £46 for 6 months eMRCS subscription. If you live in pakistan, keep ~250000pkr in your mind. Plab and mrcs are two separate exams.

Madam dekhen. PLAB is a different exam. MRCS is a surgical speciality exam. Ap agr mrcs kr leti hain tou b apko GMC Registration mil jae gi after giving oet. MRCS is superior to PLAB if you want to go in surgery & allied.

You must read recalls. But don't try to memorise them. Also, focus on repeatedly tested concepts.

It's easy to learn the concepts when you are doing residency in surgery. That's why I also recommend so. But there is no obligation. U just need degree to apply for MRCS.
