How I passed the MRCEM Intermediate exam with only one month of preparation

Hi guys,
This was one of the hardest exams I’ve ever taken. This is my experience and what I wish I knew prior to sitting this exam.
Study notes: I created this document mainly for spot diagnoses - acrobat.adobe....
I found creating pathways particularly useful! This exam heavily tests "WHAT WOULD YOU DO NEXT!" So after creating the pathways, I then repeatedly whiteboarded from memory to see how well I knew the material. Examples included in the following document: acrobat.adobe....

Hello Dr So u followed mainly mrcem sucess ? U did any course for intermediate? Did u follow any other source rather than sucess . congratulations for Ur sucess .the exam is not easy but u passed ,great 👍

I'm so sorry for the delayed response, I was off of youtube for the past year. I hope you have been successful on your journey. Yes, I only used MRCEM success and supplemented my studying with random youtube videos to deepen concepts.

I'm sorry I never responded. I took a break from youtube. I'm now seeing your message. I hope your exam went well! I didn't use any book. I used the bank and supplemented by learning with random youtube videos.

I used the MRCEM Success bank. However, as I stated in the video, I felt it was easier than the actual exam.

@@hadeerabdel-aleem7843 I can’t recommend one personally tbh as I didn’t find a good bank. I’ve heard about the MRCEM exam prep and people recommend using the questions on RCEM website. I hope this helps

After passing the 3 mrcem exams primary intermediate and osce all...what level will the img doctor be place ST2 or ST3?

Well it depends. We are expected to have completed all 3 of the MRCEM exams by ST3. It is needed for ST4 entry if you are applying to HST.

I used the MRCEM success bank but I found the exam harder than the question bank. I combined my studying with loads of RU-vid videos to expand my knowledge. Highly recommend knowing the RCEM guidelines. I’ll add my notes above.
