How I Play: Avenged Sevenfold's M. Shadows

An M.Shadows gaming channel would be cool.

M.Shadows seems like the coolest dad ever

It seems that he is a very down to earth and simple guy, cool dude.

So someone, somewhere, has played, unknowingly, with M. Fucking Shadows on a game of Call of Duty.

Just wanted to point out to everyone who thought Matt called his son "Rev", that his son is actually named River, so Matt called him 'Riv'. However, River _is_ partially named after The Rev, as his middle name is James, just like the children of the other surviving band members: Tennessee James Baker, Franklin James Seward, and Nicholangelo Saint James Haner. I've also wondered whether "River" might be a play on the word "foREVer". Edit 1: And now there's Monroe Saint James Haner! Edit 2: Found out (from Val & Michelle on Drinks with Johnny) that Matt's younger son Cash is also named after The Rev; his middle name is Owen!

I've known forever that Matt is a HUGE gamer, but just nice to SEE what he's playing recently, and how he's got his son into gaming, too! :) I love that he's a huge CoD and Zelda fan! Those are definitely 2 games I love, especially the Zelda franchise! I got my own son into gaming a couple years back with Nintendo, Zelda, eventually expanded into more and more forms of games. It's just something so many people can relate to. Like Matt said, it can be therapeutic in so many situations and circumstances. Glad he turned to games and not something bad, when Jimmy passed.
