Watching your review video on this made me buy one of these and then watching this has been really helpful can’t wait to get back on my lights and make sure cool effects
So, I bought tha Airstream and I have watched this video a dozen times and I have to just say thank you, this has helped me so much! Great channel and content. Even though we can't get away with EDM over the pond, everything you post is massively useful. Thanks again and keep up the great work.

Hi Barr! Does it make sense to purchase Airstream if I don't have Wifly fixtures? Since I read that one of the 2 antennas id dedicated to the WIFly. The only purpose would be a stronger wifi connection between the tablet and it. Will it happen? I used only once the MyDMX Go and I had some issues... thank you!
Another awesome video as always DJ Barr, especially on a complicated subject (at least for us making the big leap to better light shows, etc.), and after watching multiple videos on “DMXing” and the airstream bridge, I have all lights that you have and/or used in this video, so I hooked them all up, sat down in my kitchen, and went through your video with you step by step, and yes my knowledge grew leaps and bounds (THANK YOU! MUCH APPRECIATED BRO!), but I got to the part where I created scenes of color for my up lights, and got all excited when I could gain control of my ADJ Focus Spot 2’s, recorded some scenes/effects, but when I watched your video at about the 34:48 spot and you mentioned that you could save the “effect” for your moving heads (but not the color), you turned everything off and then turned on the effect, and BAM you had color AND effect! I’ve got to be missing something, because I can save scenes, but when I turn them on, I get the effect, but I lose my colors I “thought” I saved every time! What gives? Any thoughts? Thought I was making progress, now I’m just feeling frustrated! Lol. Need to still figure some things out before I put “shows” together! Thanks again for all the info! would you happen to know how I can control my Chauvet quad 4s with the mydmx go. would I go out of my DMX go into a flare con air? I Can control my spot 360s with wireless dongle’s but not my up lights.🙋
Great video. Here's a few questions: Are there advantages to using the airstream controller over a traditional one? I mean it seems like its just a virtual controller that you controller with the ipad. Does it give you more scenes or anything that a traditional dmx controller? Personally i think i like the idea of a hands on real controller. Its also cheaper. So unless theres more control.or power id just rather by a 384 channel control. Having said that, the airstream controller has one dmx 3 pin output, can that be used at same time as the wireless dmx? Like can you have one set of lights connect via a cable and the other wireless and can both work simultaneously? Also if you dont have wirelss fixtures can you daisy chain different fixtures to.each other?. Another question, is there a way to use the music to pic scenes or to make the light use its own built in mic ? Next are there limits to how many lights or channels you can control. Thanks
Do you know if the Light Rider Interface is compatible with lasers ? I see that it's able to find the unit, but I can only get it to work via the fixtures menu, and by adjusting the faders. As soon as I use the live function, the laser shuts itself off. Any tips ?
Hi Barr and any other people! I have a question, I use 2 moving heads beam & 2 moving heads wash. I want to program wash heads to work separately. Is it possible?
This was helpful I'm an amazing DJ but when it comes to lighting/DMX I'm clueless and I was able to program my ADJ Airstream DMX Bridge/Tablet within minutes because of this bog,Thank you !!! I feel like I owe you lunch!!! Lol

Can you use a donner wireless transmitter plugged into the DMX Bridge, a receiver into a par uplight set to master, the rest of the uplights set to slave, and control them all (to do the same thing) through the master?
Nice tutorial video! Question: Can you make the 'non wireless' lights 'WireLess' with the 'Wireless DMX Receivers plugs' and program them the same way?
Not sure if I missed it here, but there's a way to save A & B positions for movement of the moving heads correct? Like left to right movement, saved as a preset.

Hi DJ Barr, I have some "Smartdj S6" from "Both Lighting". The User Manual only lists Specs. They Work fine with the remote, but I can not get it working with my ADJ Airstream DMX. When the Airstream is connected to different figures, and the S6 is turned on, it disconnects the Airstream. Any ideas? I have tried adding the S6 using the ADJ Airstream using a Dmx cable since the dinner Dmx can't fit in the dmx port of the S6 due to its design. The Airstream is just not working with it. Will appreciate any help.
if it has sound active mode , its cool , ( it should also be a way to save a file , send it to your ipphone and it still runs ... so you can use your ipad for other things During your Gig

I have one of those. They are hit or miss in our area trying to find a clean wifi channel so the lights don’t freeze! Shame.....when it does work it is FANTASTIC!!!
Great video, but for future reference, incorporate a three repeat method of training for older users. Repeat the process, or video clip three times before you proceed to the next section. Keep up the good work!
This is incredibly useful. I am helping a guy with his DJ/wedding stuff for the next few gigs, then he is giving me all his gear as payment. He is retiring and I am coming out of retirement. He has 2 track lights and 4 pars and doesn't know how to program the controller. I fumbled for a bit trying to figure it out at the last gig, but this video showed me the mistakes I made and why I couldn't trigger the scenes that I programmed. I would have liked to see how to program steps, for song specific programs, but I think I will be able to figure it out. 8 years ago when I stopped, It was mostly because technology wasn't affordable for what I wanted to do with my shows. Now it is, and I can create the experience for my customers that I have been dreaming of. I am primarily a KJ, and I have been wanting to create a full stage experience ever since I started 20 years ago. Now I can.
Hey Barr, Great Video. Question: Do you have to set up all the lights at once when programing colors? I noticed when I set up my moving heads then I purchased uplights, when I tried to save the colors to the buttons I made for the moving heads, it wiped out the moving heads setup. it seems like the overwrite button clears the previous settings. Thanks a lot.
What’s up Barr dope content will the air stream be able to control the apelabs maxi as well? Or will I still have to use the apelabs remote separately. I have both I noticed u have those as well wanted to know if maybe you tried that at all.
Hey Barr great vid! I know that using the ADJ Bridge you can use a lot of other name brand lights as well. Can Ape Labs also be DMX’d to the Bridge as well? I have the Cans and read that Ape Labs has its own DMX receiver like the ADJ Bridge. But I have both so I was wondering if I can DMX the Ape Lab Cans to the ADJ Bridge as well. Hey Barr!! Why do you put both the dimmer and the strobe all the way up to turn the light on? Instead of just the dimmer? (I hope that question makes sense lol)
