I had the absolute pleasure of attending the UK Qualifier weekend for the GS Trophy 2024. What an amazing weekend of riding!
Incredibly, after really giving it everything I had, I managed to bag a 3rd place overall and a spot on the UK team for the GS Trophy in Namibia next year!! Unbelievable. I cannot wait.

Mr Shields that result is MASSIVE! I'm no stranger to Walter's arena so I can appreciate the skill, effort, brute force and determination needed just to complete the course, never mind becoming a top three qualifier . Absolutely outstanding.

Well done . For your first time .I have also done the gs challenge many times but never got to do the over sees big one ,and now its not done in canada anymore ,It was an skill set that improves your riding and confidence .again well done .

Awesome well done mate, already looking forward to the Namibia videos. That’s another thing you have just done and completed which are on my to do list, the GS trophy challenge, and sell everything and go off around the world, total respect to the both of you. One question what adv helmet do you use, trying to find myself a front flip adv helmet and yours looks the bees knees/ dogs danglies

Why did you score 4/5 on the throttle? This is the best insight video I've seen of this event!

Thanks dude, glad you like the vid! I was surprised by that 4/5 as the marshals told me I got a really good time! But there is only 1sec between each point on that event and I was just inside the 4 point second of 47-48sec (from memory). Difficult to get good points on that challenge!
