Wow Jenny I really love that red brick building your reperpessing. I also mentioned to tell you that your engineering of the turntable is truly remarkable work. Just ingenious. Have a good trip. Will look forward for next update
Jenny, Hello from the New York City, NY, USA. Just wondering how open you would be with a suggestion regarding your Trinity Street scene? 25 or 30 years ago I had a similar situation. While visiting my Mother-in-Law, at her Beauty Shop, I, for my purposes, solved my Trackside quandary. First using arsole foam insulation, I in-filled all the gaps in the walls. Since "(Slo-" or) "Quik-Blow", as we call it here, tends to expand not only in the cavity but beyond I used the tacky yet sculptable nature of "Quik-Blow" to form a backdrop support for M-i-L's idea. At the local Thrift Shop I purchased an oversized mirror. A friend cut the glass to fit my diorama. Then I had to select, like you, which side of my buildings would face the trackage. And which side would face the mirror. With the proper angle, and some alleyway pavement and foliage, when viewing the scene you get the impression of not a single street scene. However, you are looking at two rows of homes, two blocks deep. Superb forced perspective with only 1 inch of depth. Do love your episodes. Especially your road trip to Parliament. Was hoping you could explain, if not solve, Brexit. I'll keep watching for your solution of all thing RxR & Brexit. SEE YA' DOWN THE LINE; Jim
