SADIE IS SO BIG. That bit at the end really made me emotional, she’s a real person, not just a baby! I’ve had a wild summer, got married, graduated from university, moved house and got a new job in the space of a month and a half. It was mad, a lot of fun and laughs in there as well but I’m now ready to get back to real life!
I’m so happy you’re back in this room!! I got a job this summer... actually two jobs, one by accident. I completed a giant research project, I planted a garden that ended up producing mostly cucumbers and banana peppers. And in the past month I’ve started a mitten knitting blitz to make sure my church’s sock and glove tree is the fullest it’s ever been. So far, I’m four hats, four big kid mitten sets, and three toddler mitten sets in.
Missed you so much! Went to Hawaii, came back. Went to San Diego, came back. Got separated, then God restored my marriage. All in one summer. Busy time over here! Can’t wait to see more videos!❤️
I really enjoy following the shorter snippets on Instagram but always drop everything when you post a video. It always feels like a catch up over coffee with a friend. And this time I'm having a cup in our own apartment that we bought this summer. Hugs to all the friends here
So glad to see you on RU-vid. I had my nieces at my house for the first 6 weeks of summer. Then 2 weeks after they left the Carr Fire affected my town Redding. Following that was the nearby delta fire so the majority of summer was spent indoors avoiding the smoke.

I'm a student so my summer started on the 1st of June and I worked all summer to save some money for the new term. I was getting home after looking at a screen all day and not wanting to watch TV or go on my laptop so my boyfriend and I invented the summer of activities where everyday we did something different. The weather in the UK this summer was beautiful so we spent loads of time outdoors doing running, swimming, walking and squash and we started up weekly dinner night with my Dad and my siblings so we all had a chance to meet up! My main project this summer was having my first baby 💙 a chunk of a boy, Grayson, weighing 9lb 3 at birth and 13lb 7 at 7 weeks! I feel as though I was just peeking my head into the different rooms this summer, but now that I'm getting into the swing of motherhood I can actually start contributing again! Sadie is so big now! And I love that you kept it real with the makeup application, you do far more than my everyday 😂! Glad you're back Marie x

One of my best friends who lives in Norway came back to visit and he along with my other 3 friends and I had a ball! We road tripped to Palm Springs and had a good ol' time! Hello, even though I have been following along on insta and facebook, having you back on RU-vid is nice and cosy. Since you were last here I have started all of the jobs, I work in a school now as a Pupil Support Assistant doing one-to-one. It's hard work but we just had support services in today and it feels like we might start moving forward which is good.
So great to see you again Marie! I too slap on make up with all the wrong brushes and in not the right order so I'm glad it's not just me. So glad you had a good summer, I spent mine volunteering at a museum and now I've just started my final year of university before I begin my training to be a primary school teacher

What I love about cuppacraft, it's that it started out small, and now it has gotten so big. Also, people are always so nice, I learned how to handmade make an english paper piecing quilt by watching other people's creations and sending them messages with questions. I have grown so fast and nice with this group and I love it so sosososososososo much. If I ever mover to seattle (or someplace with lots of members) I would love to make a meet and greet and make crafts all day long, teaching new techniques to other people and learning new stuff.

This makeup routine is what I like to call my Sunday Morning makeup - ie, I have to look acceptable but also it's 7am on a Sunday and we have to get to church for pre-service band practice! (secret: it works very well for doing in the sun-visor mirror as we're driving there!)

Missed you so much! Tomorrow I'll be 12 weeks pregnant with our 3rd baby! This summer we went to Washington to spend a month with my family and then just enjoyed the Michigan summer for the rest of it.

I have benefits and vacation time and I have no idea what to do with either. My main project is working on a band I started with my best friend, we’re trying to put together an album for early next spring. It’s very exciting and I’ve never been so proud of anything.

My summer mostly consisted of work.... I feel like even with 3 week off in various days I didn’t get much of a summer... however I finished a quilt I’ve been working on for 3 years which is exciting and the recipient was very pleased to be 30 again just before she turned 32!
I love watching you get ready! Totally normal life for me! I’ve got four little ones (ages 7, 5, 4, and 8 weeks) and have no time for myself so makeup goes on my face about like this but only two or three days a week. 😊 This summer I had my rainbow baby and she is perfect! God was truly merciful to us and after nine months of HG and preterm labor she was born completely healthy and weighed 8lb 15oz! Our summer was full of reading programs with hours of story times and crafts, playing at the park and pool, church activities, family trips, and little adventures at state parks and farms! I hope your summer was amazing! Your children are so precious and growing up way too quickly! I worked at a preschool this summer! It was amazing working with all the precious little ones! Now back to college... and I’m glad to know I’m not the only one who just sort of throws product on my face, blends it, and calls it good. Just wanted to say that again :) So now for my summer, it was not that spectacular, it mostly consisted of some little daytrips together with some preparation for my semester abroad (which is happening right now and it's an amazing adventure!). It’s refreshing to see a make up video for the busy mama! I never do my make up because I don’t have an hour to sit there with 900 products and All. The. Brushes. This summer I went to Las Vegas with my mom to visit my maternal grandma, my husband and son went to Cub Scout camp, and we went to Seattle 3 times (we live 4 hours away). Once for Dan and Phil’s tour, once to see Ed Sheeran in concert, and once for a Mariners game.

I never get mad when you are missing, I just wait fondly for your return! Also my summer has been shitty because we found out my husband needs a new kidney and while we are in 'GAME MODE LETS GET THIS DONE' mode his family has been less than kind to me and have been insinuating we shouldn't have kids and I'm a burden on his already failing health because I have anxiety. PHEW that was some word vomit. But before you worry, he and I are great and we are letting the negativity roll off our backs. We have great doctors and we are looking towards the future with smiles and positive attitudes (which I learned from watching you!). I hope you upload clips from your summer when you get a chance!
