Watch your videos encourage me to keep going in my natural hair journey. My question is that is it compulsory that i should be my braid in chonky braid after anointing my hair because my do jump up and look rough aftee loosing the chonky braid. Probably is because my hair is still short

No love, it's not a must to do the chunky braids, it's just that I always suggest them because they help soften the hair even more. They lock all that moisture in. Even if you don't do the chunky braids please don't skip the headwrap part after anointing your hair with hair butter

Hi sis. I'm a new subcriber. I've been doing mini braids for years but i can't keep them past 5 weeks because they lock and unbraiding causes so much breakage. Do you have a method to prevent your hair turning into locs?
