I love your remake videos. Ever thought about hosting a game jam where we all remake the same game over a week? I'd be all over that. You could even call it "The Clone Wars"
Bigheads, such a simple yet fun power up. Since headshots do more damage and give the player points in Cod, something like this is utterly genius. They really should take notes. Well played!
This stuff warms my heart. I wish it were possible to remake one of the old WWF games. No Mercy, SmackDown: Know Your Role, RAW 2002, something like that. Keep doing awesome stuff!
It honestly confuses me, I kinda liked cold war and I feel like they were going to base vanguard off of its gameplay but they take players thoughts and use them to improve what they had, instead they threw most of it out of the window
Saw this on Lex's stream, so much respect to you and really enjoyed the video. Liked and subscribed, I've never seen so much innovation in CoD zombies since the first Black Ops.
I would love to see you do a remake of GTA 3 (not the entire thing obviously. just the first island to a limited capacity) and what it could potentially look like with modern graphics and modern gameplay elements but remaining as faithful to the core game as possible. I want to see 1 guy doing something that a billion dollar entity couldn't be bothered to do
@@lebryantjohnson7306 He promised this is a full survival course but he even not implemented the prone function in the course which is very basic and the question is why he is scamming people while he promised something and you find nothing in the course. I am myself a developer and I can confirm this guy is not a developer or not a loyal developer. He is just collecting money and will not answer to one of your question. He is so funny and smart scammer.
Came from MrTLexify, great video. I try and make video games too but I use Unity, despite that I think game dev knowledge is universal. So I'll defo sub. Can't wait for more content!
I bought the course and it really helped me learn what I wanted to know. As an experienced programmer, it made blueprints make sense to me and allowed me to just write some code. It is great to see all these different projects built on the same base framework! Good job and thanks!
Icl that course on how to make a survival game looks good, been meaning to learn c++ instead of the crusty old blueprints I’ve been using for over a year now 😂
These videos are masterly done, funny, entertaining and actually informative as well. Thank you so much! Some things fall a little short, as a student i cant really enroll into fancy courses and try to do everything as cheap as possible. Would be cool to get some more in depth info about the weapon system! On the other hand iam also kinda interested in the complicated networking code youve written for the mw remake. Maybe ill take a look at that spicy patreon. Nonetheless thank you so much! :) and keep on doing this awesome stuff, including the entertainment ;)
Man I know slim chance you read this, but I subbed after finding your GTA V game and have seen all your other recreations since then. Let me just say, they are awesome and inspiring. I had been wanting to get into game dev for many years, and seeing your videos was the push I needed, so thank you for that! I’m admittedly not that skilled yet in UE5, but Im willing to learn and take any help I can get, and hope one day I can do what I’ve always dreamed of!
I was thinking instead of zombies in ancient Egypt maybe u should put"mummies" cause it sounds very surreal or impossible but all in all its a pretty good looking game.
Reubs, you do absolutely wonderful work remastering old titles. I think you did the Simpsons Hit and Run absolutely perfect. It would make mine and a lot of other peoples day if you would take the time out of your day to Re-make Ultimate Spider Man. I don’t how that would work considering Marvels owns rights over Spider-Man and the game itself but if possible its not that big of a game and it was a much loved game for PS2 and Game Cube.
I have a really stupid question. How did you set up the zombie animations? I have the exact same zombies and mocap files but I can't figure out for the life of me how to make them work together. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Awesome video by the way. Your work is fantastic!
my man remade call of duty zombies, even if just one map, remade all the features in them almost from scratch, improved on the features, added elements that the original game should've had long ago, all in just one week. but didn't release it even though i am willing to bet people would pay to get it, play it and would enjoy it even though it's not big or perfectly polished. there's a reason black ops 3 is my favorite COD for zombies because of all the great custom maps and this is the first video i watch of yours so i don't know if you do this already but i really wish you would make a map mod for BO3 and share it on the steam workshop which uses the same features you created here (such as the new looks for the powerups, buying perks multiple times etc.) but using the game's available assets.
I recently made a COD Zombies clone for a video, trying to find out the formulas for Cod zombies was the most complicated process I've ever went through in my life. I'm surprised you figured it out, I couldn't. 🤣🤣
Hi Reubs, I'm from Argentina and I like your videos. I would like you to make a remake of the game "True Crime: New York City" it's on the PS2 and it's an open world. Keep it up and thanks!!!❤
The so-called "Burke Pulser" aka ray gun, includes two antennae, a piezoelectric generator, and a blast shield to save the user from "hazardous" levels of electricity. Unlike traditional energy weapons, such as lasers, the Burke Pulser is small and fits on top of an M4 rifle. It works by converting the energy released from the gun's firing into electrical energy.
All these amazing remakes prompt the thought of how come we haven't been graced with a game of your own, then it occurred to me since you're an Unreal Dev maybe it's because you work for a game dev studio. Are there any projects out there that you're a part of we'd love to support your work bro albeit it's not an indie.
Great vid bro and hard work. But that G18 at the beginning has an auto sear AND toggle. It only needs the auto sear if it a 19 turned full auto, 18's have the switch. jk amazing work man
i suggest you remake portal next, that game would look great with modern UE5 graphics :) Also pretty simple game aside from the portal gun, even that though is very plausible.
how do you get around all the ticking that the blueprints cause per zombie? Even a simple zombie has 'find player' and 'attack player', and just running those 2 simple commands every 1-2 seconds, kicks my GAME Stat from 8ms to 14ms when I reach 20 zombies.
I would get a wide smile if you tried remaking Grand Prix 4! One of the most revolutionary racing sim for it's decade that to this day has an incredible AI and has some mechanics that we can't see in nowadays racing simulators(or racing videogames in general) such as marshalls picking up the car and clearing the track Can't force you of course, just a suggestion, consider taking it if you want to :3
i was actually listening to that explanation of how you got the mouth movement, and was thoroughly saddened when you cut it short. Though it was still funny
its just so sad/embarrassing for a triple A company to see someone make a game 10 times better and more innovative in much less time... this is amazing.. and you're an absolute legend for doing this!
