My hair is very fine and flat with little volume and I just wish my hair was thicker. It used to be nice and long too and then I chopped it a few years back and have had trouble getting it to grow to its full potential again. Would do you think about the Kérastase Résistance Extentioniste Hair Serum? Or what else could you recommend for my issues?
Saw this video about a year ago after giving birth to my second child because I was worried my hair would fall out as it did with my first. I used this entire line since then and my hair grew 12 inches. Insane! It literally transformed my hair and I get compliments on it all the time. It's the healthiest it has ever been. It's worth the money!
I just happened to recently purchase the scalp serum with the Resistance line of products and saw this AFTER I purchased and I’m so happy that you’ve validated my purchase before I’ve even had a chance to try for myself!
I’m probably late to the party and I tried this line when my hair is completely damaged last moth and yes they saved my hair !! I love them so much, my fav is the hair mask and serum, it’s soo good y’all.
This was great and very informative . (I am blonde & damaged my hairdresser recommended these products but I wanted to review first) I’m now SOLD✔️You speak well and really know your products! I especially appreciate HOW TO USE in the shower because buying and not knowing how to use I think I would waste it.
I burnt my hair with really bad straighteners, my hair was also damp ( I made a huge error!) my hair is balyaged and bleached throughout. After this incident my hair was smelling like a burnt bbq, I would shower and it would smell even worse. In the shower i noticed the hair was breaking and tangling. I thought this is it. Anyway I have the kerastase masques so I have been applying the hydration line & now just ordered the resistance (darkest green line) and waiting to apply this also. But even without this line and just the hydration my hair is looking super soft, and it doesn’t appear damaged anymore (not sure if the shampoo and masques are holding it all in place) but from what I see there is hardly any damage. I have stopped using hair straighteners and will not go near any hair irons ever again!!! The only thing I will use is probably a blow dryer to style my hair
I started the shampoo and conditioner 3 weeks ago and my hair feels incredible! I have fine curly hair I color and straighten with one of those oval brush dryers or I use a regular blow dryer when I let it go curly. I also have the nutritive blow dryer primer but I am going to buy the serum and scalp products and maybe the mask in the Rouge sale so I can save 20% and am super excited to try these! I am a woman of age so I have decades of damage and I also was a licensed cosmetologist and went thru the colors and literally my bangs broke off on my round brush years ago so I am all too familiar with damage. Did I mention I live in Florida so humidity is always a factor. I did not know to condition then shampoo-I have this line you are showing so next shampoo I will be doing that. Thank you for this video, I just subscribed!
Some of these are actually silicone free (judging from the ingredients) :) I have the Therapiste Masque, maybe I should use it a bit more. It's quite moisturising despite seeming like more of a strength (protein) treatment.
AMAZING REVIEW!! So thankful for this--my hair is so dry and brittle right now and so desperate for some TLC at home!! I will be purchasing. Thank you so much! Any videos on how to tone down brassiness at home?? My ash highlights have now turned brassy and orange and my hair feels like straw! HELP! 😩
I have a grown-out balayage, and I'm actually trying to grow out my natural black hair now. The ends of my hair have gone through hell after so many years of being so many levels of blonde. I want to buy the shampoo and conditioner. Although I don't know if this is a good idea if I use it on my natural hair. The black has grown down to about my ear. Would it be healthy to use whats left when shampooing on my black hair?
Hi . I have used this range of Karasase for over proceed colouring. I can tell this is an amazing product in the world. I would like to ask how long do I have to use it for? and what is the name of the serum? I am a fan of Karastase for many years. Love it. I won't never change to other hair product in my life. Xoxox
Hey there, the Initialiste serum is actually discontinued now. We have an updated video on Kerastase here comparing all the ranges: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-iRuUWz5AGeI.html
Is the shampoo suitable for dyed hair? I know it has sulfates in it which tend to strip my hair colour. Though I would really like to try it as I have the mask and love it
This exact same thing has just happened to me over the weekend. I spent 18 months trying to carefully regrow highlighted hair and my salon did the same thing with the toner, I went from lightly highlighted creamy blonde to muddy green ash and now, after the correction bleaching, my hair looks like a bucket of burnt KFC - SO SAD! :( just shipped all these products to my address
Please help me, i recently bought therapiste serum ,shampoo and the mask,i use the mask as a conditioner... i have severe breakage, like my hair snaps of, chemical cut my hair is super uneven..i am.done crying about it now, i wanna move on and just fix it, invested in the shampoo serum mask and ... no difference. I.was expecting my hair to be soft after a month.. am i using it wrong? Should i use another line? I use therapiste shampii mask therapiste serum and the oleo serum... maybe kerastase isnt for mt asian hair?? Someone help me,cant afford trying every single line from kerstase.. i hoping id get it right with tge therapiste line..but im willing to try another line out..if that doesnt work,il give up on the brand. .its expensive i dont mind the price,i just want something that works
I have over processed blonde hair. It breaks easily, is dry. Unfortunately it's also thin, fine and I have an underactive Thyroid 🙄. Would I be better looking at the Extentialiste or Chronologiste range. Thanks.
My hair stylists recommended the dual conditioner/serum to me after my 2nd blonding session. It smells SO GOOD. Is the rest of the line the same scent?
Thank you so much for this video..very helpful indeed. I managed to get the products. Is it best to use it twice to three times a week? Apart from the serum. I also got the energiste scrub..been having weak and damaged hair. I hope it'll work.. fingers crossed 🤞
We're so glad you found it helpful! You would use the shampoo/conditioner every time you wash your hair, and we would suggest using the masque every 3rd wash incorporating it into your routine :)
Can I use this on my hair even though its not dyed ANY colour? I presently use Olaplex but read a review to try the Hair Mask! Please advise if its OK for me to use on my hair.
What’s the name of the 2nd shampoo can’t see it on a side beauty? And also the architecture line we need erosion levels 2-3!! I can’t find the shampoo. Of erosion level 3-4!!
1-2 erosion level is Kerastase Resistance Bain Force Architecte Shampoo, 2-3 Erosion level is Kerastase Resistance Bain Extentioniste Shampoo & 3-4 erosion is Kerastase Bain Therapiste Balm-In Shampoo which is the shampoo mentioned in the video!! I hope that helps - Millie
Hi! This was really informative, thank you so much. With the scalp and hair concentrate, do you put it on after your regular shampoo and conditioner on wet hair? I'm not sure exactly how to use it x
We're glad you found our video useful! With Kerastase Initialiste, wash and condition your hair like normal, towel try it once you're out of the shower, then massage the product into your scalp. x
I used to absolutely love Olaplex and it saved my hair when it first came out, but Olaplex have done something to it now where it's crap. Does not work!!
For a brief overview, the Genesis range can assist with hair fall, the Specifique treatments aim to preserve hair density, and the Initialiste serum is for scalp health. (More info in this video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-EKK-cJVyAXs.html) However most over the counter haircare can only help with strengthening/healing hair, or keeping your scalp healthy for new hair to grow, so if you're dealing with intense hair loss we'd recommend chatting to your doctor.
@@adorebeauty great then I will get the specifique anti chute ampoules, how long am i meant to use them for best results & how many times a week? I heard Millie saying some of those treatments require up to 6 months of commitment before you can see results, not sure which ones she meant though
Thank you so much, muy informativo yo amo estos productos me han ayudado mucho con mi cabello muy maltratado por el rubio y las planchas, quiero probabas más adelante más productos de esta marca
Hi! They're actually different, similar but they have different purposes. The Initialiste Serum is all about creating the best environment for the hair to grow whereas the Resistance Extentioniste Serum is more about helping the hair grow faster/thicker. (Think of Initialiste as the fertilizer, vs the Extentioniste is like an accelerant.)
@@adorebeauty Thank you. I ended up buying the initialiste and the Therapiste line! My hair is super damaged because of the descolorations. Hope it works. :D
It's up to personal preference! Kerastase recommends leaving the Masque on for 5 to 10 minutes, but there's no harm in leaving it on for 20 minutes if that's what you prefer :)
Hi, can my hair be damaged even though I never dyed my hair and barely use heat (like the last time was 2 years ago and even they were like 3 times throughout the year) but the outer layer of my hair especially is very dry and breaks easily also I feel like my hair falls a little
I have a similar problem.. I want long hair but every time it get's to a longer length it breaks.. but I rarely use heat and have never dyed my hair. Maybe your comb/brush is damaging your hair? You could look it up, I'm not sure which comb to use really. I am not a profecionalist so I can't really help but yea I relate
Everyone's hair is different - if your hair is dry, that might be contributing to the breakage! We recommend using a strengthening and hydrating shampoo and conditioner and be cautious when you brush or style your hair.
Hablas mucho y siento que estas explicando super bien como usar los productos, lastima que no entiendo ingles, de 10 palabras entiendo una 😭😭😭😆 anyway you are beautiful girl ❤🙊
Kerastase is generally colour safe, however the Kerastase Resistance range doesn't tone hair, so you'd be better off using the Blonde Absolut range to keep your blonde light and creamy! Or mix and match with Resistance if you'd like to use a bit of both :)
The Initialiste serum is more about overall scalp health to give a general all over boost & help the hair come out to it's healthiest capacity, vs the Extentioniste Resistance Serum which is more about encouraging hair growth/length :) (You can use both if you alternate the serums, ie: one morning, one evening with at least an 8hr gap).
Such a helpful video! I have recently purchased the serum dual treatment, because of this and am very excited to use it. I am brunette with died blonde hair, that is thin and straight. It is damaged (especially the top half), I get a full head of foils. Would you recommend some of the products from this Kérastase range for recovery and also some from the purple Kérastase range to maintain the tone of my blonde? If so which products would you recommend and how frequently should I use them. Thank you!
Yay we hope you love the dual treatment! So the Therapiste regime will help a lot with breakage, and when you notice your hair is going brassy/yellow, we recommend Blond Absolut Ultra Violet Shampoo/Cicaflash Fondant once-twice a fortnight! The Kerastase purple shampoo is a favourite because it's strong enough to help with toning but won't dry out your hair or make it overtonned or dull :)
Hi there, we are a retailer and stock Kerastase products on our website. Millie is one of our customer service advisors and she swears by the products mentioned in the video - it wasn't sponsored by Kerastase x
You can use Initialiste everyday if you like. Depending on your hair type it may make your roots a little bit oily but dry shampoo is your best friend!
