So this is how to make a cheese slicer. Pretty much anything that can go wrong went wrong in this build and I decided to put it all in the video. Because, why not. Right?

Loved the honesty of this video. Thanks for showcasing your mistakes. One thing... Maybe think about adding a block of wood to the back of your crosscut sled where the blade comes out - the reminder to keep your hands clear might save you a thumb or two.

Haha. Thays funny i did the same exaxt thing on my first slicer. And i also used the dowling jig to drill the hole.

On the Rockler kit it does not mention to off set the cut?

I love them. I use them way more than I thought I would. once you get them it's like you can't stop seeing opportunities to use them. My only gripe about them is that it seems like every manufacturer makes them out of aluminum. Which isn't a bad thing until you drop one of the bigger ones on the concrete floor. I dropped my 1x2x3 block and dented one of the corners in. Which throws off the dimensions around that corner. But other than that, they are a great addition to the tools.

eanosic is the brand I'm using. It's a cheaper brand. When you look them up on amazon there is a ton of choices.
