As a anthropology, culture, linguistic, and person hobbiest, Mongolia, the people, and the culture, followed by the incredible language is some of the most amazing things on this planet. Shame that it’s hard to find actual material to learn Mongolian outside of Mongolia. Love from Canada!! 🇨🇦❤️🇲🇳
My Daughter will visit Mongolia in June 2017 and take with her a picture from the 1800's of our Great, Great, Aunt who married into our family as a horse trader. Tradition and respect follows her from Maryland to Mongolia and back again.
+Naran Handaa I live in the USA, i'm Navajo in Arizona, even though US is developed, there are tribes that are losing their culture, languages, songs.. Elders on Govt. reservations alone, with no electricity, the young live for the cities, some tribes were nomadic, but that's all gone now. Today we are trying to hold on to what's left. Search Native American tribes today, assimilation has corrupted most...
I'm from Poland. I love Mongolia. Mongolia is my favourite country on the world. Mongolia is Beautifuel, and Peaople on the Mongolia is very very Beautifuel❤❤❤
I am not Mongolian, but I wish Mongolia a bright future! and you have a history that is what makes you, preserve it, flourish it and remember it. All the Best to Mongolia, Bless you :)
I really hope Mongolia rises. Its geographic position sandwiched by china and Russia thousands of miles from the sea made it hard for them to export products.
Love Mongolia its people language and culture from all my heart. Wish this country and these friendly hospitable people progress welfare happiness and the bright future! Greetings from the CHECHEN REPUBLIC.
Simple people with simple dreams and aims... such a lovely country !!! i bet that the bright side is much more in Mongolia than it's dark side... I respect this country very much... Respects from India...
These are really beautiful people, I hope they keep their country as it is. It doesnt need to 'rise' . It has much richness, all which would be lost by western-style development. And it would be a great and sad loss. Please protect and maintain your unique culture in Mongolia. Dont give up to business interests from outside.
WORLD POWER ONE DAY ?!?!?! Have you ever heard of Genghis Khan, and all his sons, and grandsons?! Do you know how many Islamic Cities, literally an Islamic Holocaust, they massacred in Southwest Asia 900 years ago ?!?!? Whole cities slaughtered, burned, demolished, with hundreds of thousands of citizens ?!?!? Then you can start learning what they did in the other direction, in China, just as bad. Mongolia had the biggest land empire in world history, made entirely with unspeakable violence. That is not saying the current Mongolian population is to blame, but Genghis is a National Hero there. There are so many people on computers who think they know everything and know nothing.
AuroraBorealisCanada Khan and his cronies murdered some 25 million people not to mention raped 1000's. He is their hero, yes. He is also the worst mass murderer of them all. So, how about all that land Mongolia had? No more. China or Russia would crush Mongolia now. After the breakup of Russia in 1991, Mongolia quickly aligned itself with the USA because, they know we will support it in its quest for freedom.
Grace, I'm not Chinese and, your use of profanity negates any positives you stated. Mongolia is 3rd world. Mongolian history? Genghis Khan was the most prolific murderer ever with more than 25 million killings during his reign of terror. He could have done lots of good but, decided to conquer lands only to lose them. He was also a rapist along with his cronies.
Made me smile. I had a friend that was from Mongolia, very nice guy, loved to drink vodka, and then loved to fight. It was like a sport, or a tradition. He was hard working, and raising his family in California.
Mongolia doesn't need to be a super power again. It used to be one of the most dominant nation in Asia by killing its neighboring countries. Mongolia in ancient period was group of Warrior Tribesmen who invaded many places around central Asia including China also. Genghis Khan was himself a Super Warlord killed millions.
I just finished listening to Dan Carlin's Wrath of the Khans series and I just wanted to see what Mongolia looks like today. Of course I don't make too much of a connection between Mongolia of medieval times and Mongolia today, but it's nice to see their people now, and their hopes and dreams. It's definitely a place I want to visit.
This video is centered around the capital of Mongolia, they haven't shown what it's like in the countryside. We have reserved many cultures and traditions from the Medieval times you're talking about.
Idk if you’ll ever see this but idk why I just had this strong feeling to tell you that you’ll do great things. I might not know you but I believe in you. You got this you’re an amazing human
Mongolia is most civilized country since after 1921.Everyone attends school since 6 years old. Most modern energetic people ,fashionable young people, loving family hospitability .
Mongolian people seem so happy compared to people in the USA. Seriously everyone here is obsessed with guns and war and drugs and death on the television.
What a beautiful video! Well done! I loved the music, the hopeful and ambitious words from the people, and the lanterns floating into the night sky at the end. Very uplifting!
1st of all i never heard anything or any news on Mongolians brutally killing chinese people. You either read false news, or you are extremely racist. I will not stand with what you said. Please rethink your words. Mongolians don’t kill chinese people. BUT some of those Chinese people beat up our innocent citizens just to steal land. ( Some people ). *my opinions and these are actually true with evidence*
@@qiaqiaji8017 you know it's all the way around, right? I think you're the one who is brainwashed. Just look at the news, chinese people basically hitting them with bottle of glasses, they only simply said "you can't do that, it's in the law", they didn't get physical with them.
G'day G'day beautiful lass I'm trying to get some Empty Matchboxes covers or Matchbooks over 50 years now not one others could help me out for my Collection its they anyone could help out with my requist for Empty Spichka from Mongolin and Inter Mongolina qualamanworldwidematches.angelfire.com/sirquala/
A beautiful country filled with wonderful people and a powerful history. One of the lucky places on Earth with the brightest future. Best wishes to Mongolia!
Batra Batra Many countries in europe still welcome foreign people well everyday without second thoughts.. portugal and scandinave countries and ireland with denmark and maybe i say maybe germany too. But the country i know that accept asian people and give them everything for free like food fuel taxes rent all for free for many years is portugal.
I'm Canadian and what i saw in these people is so different that what i thought before watching this. This country will be powerful one day. They got all they need to become prosper in a early futur. Between 25 or 50 years and we are going to hear more often of Mongolia. Sory for the spelling english is my second language. Usualy is french.
I WAS SO FASCINATE WITH THE HISTORY OF MONGOLIA BECAUSE OF GREAT KHANS, I HOPE THAT ONE DAY, MONGOLIA WILL RISE ONCE AGAIN, AND CONTINUE THE LEGACY OF GENGHIS KHAN, HOPING THAT ONE DAY THEY WILL BECOME POWERFUL LIKE THEY DID BEFORE... GREETINGS FROM PHILIPPINES!
This is crazy! I am from Canada and listening to the Mongolian people speak sounds an awefull lot like the Inuit in Canada. They also have throat singing but different. To the Mongols, In your quest to be part of the quote civilized world don't loose your identity while doing it. You have a great and unique history!
This is an amazing video about an amazing country. We have the honor of having become part of a wonderful Mongolian family, and they and their country are an endless source of pride. Mongolia has a golden future - especially if it can avoid the political tragedy that has consumed so many countries, including mine (the U.S.)
I've ever went to mongolia 2013 yesterday. have many beautiful places and I met many nice people. I pray for mongol to become a blessed country. God bless mongolia. greetings from Indonesia:)

Ferman Rekica I've never been to Dyarbakir myself nor do I want to go there but I guess you're right. That part of Turkey has nothing to do with the other, Western part of Turkey.
Autosomal DNA shows Turkish (Turkey) are more mixed than Mongolians. So my point is if Mongolian are mixed than Turks are too aswell. Turks are Turkified anatolian with different degrees of Mongoloid admixture
***** There is actually few Mongolians with green eyes-red hair, blue eyes-blonde hair, is even more common among the Nenets but they all look Asiatic-Mongoloid. Could it be enviromental adaption rather than genetic exchanges?
I know there is Caucasian DNA in Mongolian but my point is they look heavily Asian despite blond hair-red hair green eyes. They look like Hmong people of Southeast Asia who are also blond and brown haired but have 0% Caucasian DNA.
Just seeing Mongolians smile makes me smile. 😊 I know them for their generous and hospitable personalities. This is one of the two reasons why I love Mongolia. The other reason is for its rich cultural heritage. This is a country that will experience peace and prosperity for years to come. Good luck, Mongolia! Love from the United States! 🇲🇳🇺🇸
Mongolia is a famous of being BRAVE and simple life as well. They are not really popular in social media but yet they still the best country where people are beautiful, simple life and beautiful city. We love you from MUSLIM country MALAYSIA 🇲🇾☝️❤️
***** you are discussing MYTH OF GENGHIS KHAN, not the true story. it was kublai khan ,great grandson of genghis khan who has founded the CHINA , YUAN dynasty. for western narrative, they like to put such statement in such manner , "CHINA been conquered by MONGOLIA." it is wrong statemnet MONGOLIA never conquered CHINA. kublai khan conquered SONG dynasty .and founded new dynasty, YUAN kublai khan is an ethnic mongol., but he is not the KING OF MONGOLIA there are 4 khanate who competing for such title. there are no single empire as MONGOLIAN as always misrepresented in the west.
And they left nothing. No literature, no culture, no philosophy, no arts, no architecture, no influence of language. Uhm.....even today, it is squeezed between 2 major powers.
Greetings from Philippines! I am so fascinated with your culture and Central Asian culture in general (Kazakh, Kyrgyz, Siberians etc). You should be an honorary member of ASEAN! We can make Asia an apex region!
I'm a 3rd generation Mongolian, my grandfather was born outside of Dalanzadgad. He moved to Germany as a teen for a better life about a year before the nazi invasion. In Germany my grandfather met my grandma. They came to America together with not a penny in their pocket. And still to this Day I'm proud to have Mongolian blood in me. But damn, I still love America.
Interesting story. Kinda sad that your grandpa failed to pass Mongol identity to his kids. But I am not blaming anyone it is just one of those sad stories I have heard many times
