Funny (and scary) how TY knows exactly what to put on my feed, I am also working on a project very similar to the film that you did and this breakdown is huge help, also shooting with anamorphic lances for the first time and really psyched about getting it out there.. awesome video!
Hahahah I know, I know. This one is DEFINITELY a bit long. Maybe you can find some solace in knowing that I cut out about 45 minutes of extra commentary 😅
Great information, congratulations on the film. I may have missed it but did you mention what particular model of tube light you used? I have been thinking about purchasing one for a while but there are so many different ones out there.
Hey man, awesome video breakdown. This is super useful stuff for lighting purposes. Definitely giving you a follow considering the amount of effort you put into this. Hope to see more from you soon! Side note: I noticed you were saying "Cine EL", I think its actually Pronounced "Cine Ei". I only say that because I was getting confused until you mentioned what you were doing and it dawn on me that it was sony's dual native technology.
Thank you for watching! And you're totally right. It's one of those things I don't say out loud very often, and I didn't have anyone to correct me this time around haha. Sorry for that confusion!
Great video and thanks for sharing. Please how do you draw on your videos while breaking down your lighting setup. I have been researching this for so long
Equipment matters, but based upon how many fx3s go up for resale it's pretty clear skills matter, just having a good camera doesn't automatically make a good dop. It's not exactly a simple skill set, though a good camera sure does help
@@Fireflysinthegrass what I’m saying is that with everyone buying the same camera and doing the same thing in an attempt to find their own distinct style at the end of the day nobody’s unique and everyone is a hipster
Even with the colors this doesn’t look like movie clips. I know everyone wants to be a RU-vidrs, but this is coming up short. I’d practice more before trying to give advice on “cinematic”.
Fair enough! For some people, this will be helpful. For others, this is nothing ground breaking, which I mentioned in the video. For the amount of crew and time we had, I’m happy with it. But I’m always critiquing my work and wanting to grow and get better. So if you have any specific advice, I’d love to hear it! Thank you for watching!
