To all my fellow wrenchers, get on that grind. Just wanted to encourage you and help you, We love an expensive hobby but you can take your skill and fund it. Right now, I am sure you have at least $1000 in parts just sitting there, sell it , make a profit, buy more and flip it .... repeat repeat repeat. SEND IT!
2012-2019 is a big difference when it comes to eBay sales. Amazon is dominating the market right now. N that's a hard market to crack sale's are down by alot when it comes to eBay currently
I think a lot of people don't understand business. When you say "I made $191,000 in sales last year, they think you made $191,000 last year. They don't understand that you sold $191,000 worth of parts but only profited a piece of that.
You’re one of my idols dude. Ever since I saw your first vids I been on the flip grind. All my friends laugh at me for junkyard diving. I didn’t even take it that serious but it helps fund all my hobbies. Thinking of taking it to the next level. Mahalos
I remember an American guy on ebay back in the 2000s pulling swap parts and shipping them all over the USA...but he lived in Japan at the time, so he also had CTR and ITR clusters and steering wheels and Nissan/Toyota lsd, everything. What a hustle 😁 and fueled an awesome industry at the same time.
maximized on the honda swap scene , something i’ve always had an idea of doing but you took it to the next level , i’m sure this same hustle can be applied to any popular chassis, nice job !
Love your video! I started doing this this year! Did have question about like cx axle etc! Where were you able to find boxes for all parts especially axles etc! Are you doing free shipping?
Thanks for the inspiration. I know I have a tone of civic, integra, and Subaru stuff I could clean up take pictures of and sell. Stuff I'll probably never use. I'm about to get a new battery for my camera. You a straight hustler yo...
I dont sell on ebay but the groups on Facebook do me well.. I sell Ef parts all day everyday.. made like 6k this month! It's definitely a cool lil side hustle .
hey bro! thanks for the video! I've been dealing with Rb's,2jz's and sr20s all my life. never really got into the honda game before what would you need for the "swap" gear? engine mounts, driveshafts, looms ecus? anything else?
I’m not making as much is you yet but I made 31,000 and I’m happy about that I just have to go harder I was happy the first month I made $500 thanks for this video very motivational
Mike, are you still selling in the car niche? Also are you buying wholesale from companies in the states or private labeling items from overseas? Thanks in advance.
I didn't know you were in Vegas...I am too. I hang out with SeeRXDood quite a bit but finding fellow honda enthusiasts (worth hanging out with) in the area is kinda difficult.
@diymike looking forward to that mr2 build and seeing what you end up doing with her.. hopefully I can source some of the parts you'll be using to do an identical swap (#pinkwidowstyle tho) lol
Great info bro, I’ve currently been selling art on offerup but looking to make the transition to eBay. I’m not a car collector but I have a 1987 Honda prelude mint condition in my garage, this video has me thinking of ideas;) thanks
I’m new to this, can somebody point me in the right direction. What parts are the best selling right now. I’m very lucky, I get all my parts for free because my pap owns a very large junkyard in Pennsylvania. I make 100% profit. I’m just selling 75% speedometers, and the rest is climate controls or an entire dash panel that comes out easy (only some cars have that). I made $3800 so far in my first month and a half. I’m so new to this, I can make so much more. I’m only 18 years old, I’m just learning about cars now. Any help is appreciated
I used to do the same from 2009-2014 with civics. Mainly ef chassis cars. Now those are non existent and the market isnt there anymore. For me anyway. I used to. Clip off obd1 injector plugs and pay 2 dollars for a set and sell them for 40 same day
I started with $2,000 ... also i lost my job that summer. So it was all i had to live on. It was greasy, hard work, but it paid off... 110 degree Vegas heat wrenching on cars in the summer is not fun but i hope this video will help people make a couple of bucks.
I remember buying wagon AWD diffs and driveshafts for like $500 before the hype. Wish I would’ve seen market explosion coming cause I would’ve made a killing lol 😂
This is how I funded my hobby up until this year for the last 2-3 years. I paid for a 600sq work space ($650 a month) for my personal builds and filps. Now race car. Anyways,so I was going to junkyard 2-3 times a week to look for parts for cars I was fixing up to flip. But also picking parts up I knew I could sell on eBay. Then I was also buying "parts" cars. For the swap for a flip car. Then I kept every part I could sell on eBay. Smaller more valuables, primarily.Soon I had a bunch of shelves full of parts I'm selling on eBay. Kept all the money in my PayPal. Only transferred for shop rent. And the PayPal balance I would buy race car parts with, or for my personal car. Get it!
Thanks for the knowledge, what's the best way to ship items on Ebay without out scaring people away with the price. Parts like intake, heads etc... thanks
A. Price them correctly. Can’t stress that enough. B. Since usps increased the price depending on how far you’re shipping it out to, fedex smartpost is the cheapest thing around now. Ebay has a shipping calculator, just google ebay shipping calculator so you can get an idea. C. You can do free shipping but just add the cost of shipping to the price or just put in the cost of shipping there
Diymike ! . On the way home from Apple Canyon I was with my dude Chris there was this down hill s turn on the road on the way to my friends house and I tried to take it as fast as I could . Right after I was out of it I smelled burnt rubber . Later we stoped at a restaurant my other friends were there too in their car but I want to see what happened I looked under the wheel well on one of the back tires on the 2003 zx2 there was a spot on the wheel well with a little bit of rubber on it I had bottomed out my car on the s turn . Previously to this I had spun out my car and hit a curb I hit I hard enough to crack part of my aluminum rims I fucked up the bearing I had it replaced my grandma payed for it but the shock and where it mounts to the body got bent too soo that’s why I think my car bottomed out it always made noise after I hit the curb The guy that worked on it was our neighbor he told me what was ring and what happened.
I absolutely hate how my island has NO pull a parts. There are junkers, but they charge premium price for used parts so it’s worthless. One could only wish.
do you have issues with fake buyers who ask you to ship to a different address or who claim you gave them a brick and not the part they asked for? im hearing that a lot and i experienced it a couple times
I’m a single mom looking to flip car parts so what actually what I look for because my brother makes a bunch of money but I’m like car illiterate so where do I go to learn about car parts that are easy to get off and worth money
If I were you I'd buy a mini cooper for under $800. At that price the engine or transmission will be bad. Whatever's not broken take off and sell. It'll teach you about cars and you'll make money at the same time.
lol . i don't know what to say. I know exactly what you are talking about. I get it why people can't do this because they don't have the knowledge and too lazy to research . you are buying used cars , I am buying vintage trains, dolls , oil paintings some bicycle parts . although I know about cars but i am not that professional and don't have the space for it. lol. anyways, thanks for sharing
Diymike 😂Anyways thank you Mike for all your videos! Been following you for a couple years now. So close to quitting my day job and going full time hustle!!
We sale JDM parts on eBay too But most customer on eBay is scammers I have sold Toyota altezza rear differential T2 Torsen LSD Customer after receiving ask for return, and he didn’t answer my questions for 9 days after return request, Ebay refund full payment for no reason, I did explain to Ebay and Ebay is able to see all messages I sent to customer, But Ebay don’t care , eBay is only behind feee ,
Im sitting on really rare hard to find honda parts, probably every bit of 50k worth of stuff and the only reason i dont enay it is because i dont know how to ship stuff :( ive been wanting to sell it all on ebay for 2 years now but that shipping thing has me all scared lol
I was in the same position (well not the rare parts, just scared of shipping), I just asked someone for advice. They sent me to interpa reel website which pretty much explains what you need to do.
If you watch his videos, his street cars are very well done. Race cars needs to go fast first and look good second. And, you've seemed to miss the entire point of the Widow which was to do 10s as cheap as possible.
The whole point of the widow was to make it as cheap as possible. Has nothing to do with the funds they had available; it's just an experiment of sorts
