I'm probably viewer number one (or close to that). Not even halfway throught the video, obviously. But I gotta say, Michael, your YT channel had been my favourite one since I found you on the Internet last year. What you said in one of your latest videos (about the Yamaha sequencer thingy), about investing time in developing a skill instead of mastering a specific tool, really stuck with me and changed my perspective about the way I get into and practice stuff. Thanks for sharing a bit of your trip with us, and I wish you and your partner have a really great 2024 ahead of you!

That was super fun trip to Dubai, cool desert hotel. Some funny moments: - could not swim - video game girl - still working after waterdip - climbing up desert - lobster face - girlfriend passed out selfie - who is this? oh my wife

Thanks Analog! The star shot is done with her iPhone, night mode is crazy. The sand actually isn't that red, my DJI action always goes crazy on red when it's in golden hour, my face isn't that red either lol.

Most synth channels can feel like the shopping channel churning out new stuff so its hot for about a month and then it gets forgotten. Always keeping up with the new stuff is another kind of rat race mixed with dangerous comfort zone than can lead to routine like behavior. So glad I understood experiences are better than material stuff over 2 decades ago... and yeah, learning a skill or a tool is an experience too.
