VIDEO SUMMARY
I recently graduated from the University Of British Columbia with a Bachelor of Commerce, specializing in Marketing and Real Estate. And now, I'm pursuing entrepreneurship full-time with my 2 ventures, Jensen Tung Media and Storagehotel.
Entrepreneurship on RU-vid can often seem incredibly rewarding and easy. While it can be rewarding in many ways, it certainly isn't easy - especially as a 22 year old chasing it right after university.
In this video, I share with you how I've been pursuing this journey, and tell you the truth about being a young entrepreneur. Things that they don't tell you online. Realistic, day in the life thoughts and realizations. The transition from being a university student to chasing the entrepreneur dream. I'm sharing them all with you!

The most important thing most people get wrong in starting a buissness is that you can’t waste time and take risks while you’re young. Once elon the golden man musk said that if u take risks while young, u still got a whole life to cover that loss but if u spend too much worrying and not actually grinding for the passion, u will never succeed

“You need wealthy parents” is just an excuse. Get a job to fund your business if you don’t have the startup money. If that means putting in more hours each day then that’s what you have to do. Is years of work and dedication a worthwhile price to pay for building your dream and achieving happiness and freedom? People want the end result but don’t see enough of the actual work and process of getting there. You have to be in this game for the long haul. No easy way out or overnight “get rich quick” nonsense.

Love your honesty and realistic approach to this type of content. TOO MANY "entrepreneurship" channels are full of get rich quick bs and create unrealistic ideas about what owning a business is like. Thanks for sharing your story and experiences. Wish you the best. Please make sure to leverage some sort of cloud-based back-up service for your important and client data. I'll use time machine personally but my 8TB drive may fail some day (as some other drives have for me in the past), so i also have a second backup of everything on BackBlaze. You can also leverage one of many cloud services with their desktop clients like Box with Box Drive so that you'll have the file on your computer, time machine, Box, (and Backblaze or similar service if you choose too). If you are dealing with really sensitive data, make sure you're looking into the right services that will protect the data (and you) from greater privacy issues that can come from leaked/hacked data.

That was me when I was 14. I’m 16 now I realized that when we are young we should always have a backup. I feel like college is just the better time. Preparing for university is already stressful. You can always try and start a business if you are confident it will work.

Starting your own business is really difficult. I started my own phone case business during quarantine, that was hard. It was hard to get your first sale and which I finally did 2 days ago. Got my first sale. I was pretty happy about it, but at the same time, you will know the reality of not having a sufficient funds to run the business advertising will most likely become your most crucial obstacle

Lol as sucessful as you may be now, I find you very relatable, I'm nearly 10 years older than you but from the same region of the US/Canada so seeing someone from my region who is so successful gives me a mixed feeling of pride and wonderment (I'm from WA state rather than BC) I always wanted to persue a career in business but never thought of how to go about it. I'll follow your videos to craft my own path forward.

Are you temporarily receiving money and shelter from family members, or are you resorting to borrowing money such as from the bank? Thank you!

The standard of this video I'd assume this was on purpose but even around 2:40 when you're saying the road isn't paved for you and it stopped then a stop sign is on the screen after the walking shot, very clever!
