Your story is very interesting and inspiring, you have done extremely well to have achieved so much so far , I agree and feel you are only just getting started , well done to have got the red gouramis to breed , it's only a matter of time until you have viable young to supply to a much needed sector of the hobby in your country, keep up the excellent work!
Excellent video and great meeting at you Coburg Aquarium, you're a wealth of knowledge dude, I'll be back whenever I need the best advice. To anyone else reading this, this guy is awesome and really knows his stuff 👍✊️
Could you also showcase some native Australian fish like the Murray Cod or the Jardini Arowana? There are not many videos of them among aquarium hobbyists. Also good luck in your venture brother
I've heard about prices in Australia before and always wondered; are there no fish farms for like bichirs and some of those species? Or is the market to small for it? 🤔
The start of cost for a farm for exotics in Australia would be way too high when you account for the fact that it would also make them worth less if more were available. The main reason is because we are very limited to the number of species we can import into the country. Most exotics are unfortunately not allowed to be imported so the only ones available in the country are from before the laws were put in place.
