I love this. This is exactly what I did with the income I was very shook and I’m like I don’t want to work for anyone else anymore I’m GOING to own my own daycare
I would love to open a 24 hour daycare center. I know it's hard for single parents with no help. Not everyone works 9 to 5. The 6:30 closing time has to go lol. Some people want to work but sometimes overnight shifts are the only openings and they can't take a job because of a 6 or 7 pm close time. Especially us first responders. One day I'll open one.
I'm 21 will be 22 soon and I would love to have my own daycare I'm studying nurse assistant at the moment, and then I will love to study Child Care after I love you for all these beautiful videos thank u
Wow this amazing!!!! Our stories are very similar except I don’t own a daycare yet but I would really really really love to open one! I feel that this video was Gods way of saying to for it! I studied child care all through high school as well as college and I always had plans on opening a center , I just been scared of failure but I’m gonna get it done! Thank you so much for being an aspiration
I'm a certified teacher in Ga. I graduated last year. During my student teaching, I realized I didnt want to be in a class. I do, however, think that daycare is the way to go.
Thank you so much for sharing your story. I too, started my daycare business at home and 2 1/2 years later opened a center, with the help from one of my daycare parents. Not on the scale of your amazing center, but I’m taking steps to enlarge my territory. I definitely learned a lot opening the center on my own and I still have a lot more to learn. What I can’t figure out on my own, I’m writing out a list for your assistance in a one on one consultation. Congratulations and I’m so proud of your accomplishments!
Hi!!!How are you doing I I am interested in opening a daycare so I'm online looking at all different types of video I stumbled upon yours as I'm watching you are coming across good point about opening up a daycare and as I'm listening to you as you talk more and more about opening a daycare I said to myself this lady is talking to me I live in Queens I am moving out to Philly to open up a daycare LOL and I am saying to myself God is good he sent me this video and I will be following you you are amazing and I am proud of your success!!!! May God bless you and keep the videos coming!!
I've been thinking about opening my own daycare center for years. I did in home daycare but parents weren't on time w/picking up their kids and/or paying. I even had one lady say she didn't remember me watching her kids even tho I had a log that was signed during drop off & pick up. I ended up working in a deli but child care is still on my mind.
If it's a passion of your's, I would definitely suggest you go back to it. It sounds like you didn't have the proper systems in place from the beginning to make sure parents understood your policies and procedures, or you were not enforcing them properly. It's important to have a handbook of policies for both employees and families and make them sign off on it. As soon as there is an issue or a violation of your policy, maybe give a warning to remind them of what they have agreed to, but you should consider letting them go after that. It's easier said than done, I know, especially during times when you may be struggling with enrollment, but it's definitely necessary and so worth it for your peace of mind (and to make room for families that DO follow your rules!)
@@DaniChristine I had a sheet of the rules. A copy for them & a copy for their files. I started working in a daycare center Monday to get some experience in a professional setting. Hopefully I've been saving so hopefully w/in a year...or less I'll be working for myself.
I have a nice chunk of money and was considering either a day care or group home. There seems to be more money in the group home but harder to start. The day care seems more simple to start up. I don’t want a home one though I want a center 😊
Thank You. I am a teacher for 26 years. I taught Pre-K for 13 years in New York. I want to open my own day care but I am afraid of not having a regular salary and having time to myself.
I have a similar story. I have taught for many years also. I'm teetering on the idea of teaching for at least two more years while working on a daycare. That way I'll have income, while pursuing this endeavor.
I want to start a daycare too and my thoughts and story is the same as yours. I wonder what degree or education I need to start a daycare. Is having a child development degree mandatory?
Speak it into existence. You WILL do it next year. Begin doing research in the field and looking for locations now so that when the opportunity presents itself to you, you can meet it with preparation.
My name is Danielle too! And I want to start a daycare I’ve been wanting to do it for the last 3 years now. I’m wondering how I can get in touch with you personally so that I can get some much needed guidance from someone who has that experience
I'm finding hard time to start up. I really need help to setting up the home daycare in my garage with licensing, paper work etc, I really appreciate it. I live in San Jose CA
Such a small world - I also grew up on Long Island, and now live in the Philly area and am looking into how to open a daycare of my own!! 😂 thanks so much for the valuable info!!
Hi Dani you are very interesting and yes I want to open a center first but it seem as if you should open in your house first so you can have clients first. What do you think is best coz I have experience in working in a daycare and had started to open in my house when I was turned away cause one of my family members had a record and they turned me down for license. I want to really start with a center cause my first love is working in the center but o don’t have my degree to run it but I hopefully hire someone to run it until I get my degree
I’m still watching your video and not finished so not sure if you were going to bring it up but what about a in home daycare in your house ? Do you have info on that and how that would all work can you do a video on it because I want to start
I did start off with a home day care. I'd love to get you booked for a consultation to help answer your questions. Shoot me an email at info@danichristine.com if you're interested.
Sorry this video wasn't what you were looking for. As the title suggests, this was me talking about my experience and how I specifically started my business. This video might be more helpful for you: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-m5o6Q6UvHNw.html I also provide private consultations where I can give you specific details on how you can start your program in your state (if you're in the U.S.). Hope this helps, and thanks for watching!
