This helped me so much because I always watch wash and gos and they never explain how they stretch there hair so thank you so much because you have truly helped me.
Ha! I can manipulate it to hide the thinnest areas where my traction alopecia's at (behind the ears) so people are of the impression I have a thick head of hair, nope. Ever seen the wind blow the feathers around a foul's ass....yea ok me right there😫 naked
Yeah I break my gel cast and do stretching with the blow dryer, I haven't had any damage... But maybe I should spray it with the protective spray, I didn't even think about it until you said something 😭.
I just found your channel today and I am kinda obsessed! We have similar hair textures and I am low porosity so your videos are so helpful. Love your personality, please keep making wonderful content!
Gurl, you stash in the corner is crazy... I'm just starting and I feel like purchasing every line you have. Thanks for posting and your videos and advice is always welcomed!
It’s crazy how a thought comes to my mind about a video I’d like to watch then BOOM you come through with the video 🤣✊🏽 thanks for this! You on point girl
@@KimberlyCherrell yeah. I went to flat iron my hair. Never did it before wanted to try something new for graduation. By the time I got to graduation it was frizzy and looked like a bad blow out and when I washed it my hair just fell out basically on the entire top and whatever was left was burnt
Ok, so I just tried this on my hair like literally 10 minutes ago, and let me just say gurllll! That thang really works!!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!! 😁💜
Virtual bff.... How can you ensure minimal frizz when pulling the hair and busting out the dryer? I feel like the few times I tried I cause frizz at the roots making it look "bushy" and then it falls limp.
Thank you for this video! I recently got my hair cut, it was bsl and I got it cut to my collar bone because I couldn’t take it anymore, the shrinkage is real, my hair shrank like a mushroom after air drying. I used your technique on the top part and viola! To go to sleep, I use the banding method, I can’t pineapple if my life depended on it. Thank you soo much, I was about to just wear my hair in Dutch braids and pony tails 🙏🏽
Bee tee full. Love the dark lippie/eye. Chica you have to give us an update on your dating life. You're gorgeous so I know you're not having a problem 😁😁
Omg! This wash n go is giving me LIFE! AND YOUR MAKE UP! 😍😍😍 I know I'm super late, but which video and hair products can I watch or use to expect these results? Gurl where?
I stopped doing this and just use bobby pins over night or until I'm going where I'm going. lol . I just wrap it. 3 strand twist out these days. very pretty though. have you did a 3 strand twist out stretched yet? wirk it Dear.
Okay I saw this method the other day from Naptural85 and I tried this but, I guess I should of waited until my hair was fully dry ? Do you do this on dry hair and also are you type 4 ? LOVE YOU & your content please don’t change your like our last real one
Yes you great love the video all of them so helpful keep them coming I’m trying to make mine look longer in the back it always skink up I’m going to try the blow dryer in the banding thank you
I'm going to have to try this with my next braid out. On another note I stopped using oil to seal my hair and I can definitely tell a difference, my hair surprisingly feel softer. This could also be because I stopped using a shower cap as well (my hair is always in a bun so no worries about water messing up a hair style).
If you live in a fairly humid place this may be somewhat inevitable until the colder months. I live in New Orleans, Louisiana and the humidity is almost never below 90% until like, October-November. So sometimes it may be hard to avoid. I've also found that stretching at night and doing some light banding before bed really gives the hair some "stretched hold" if that makes sense. By the hair being in this stretched form overnight, it tends to maintain the stretched state much better the next day! Trying to stretch right before I walk out of the door never seems to work and it seems to be a waste of my time in the morning!
Depending on my style, I'll either band my hair at night or pineapple it. If neither of those work for you then you could wrap your hair at night as well!
Do you notice a lack of moisture in your hair after a few days doing wash and goes over doing twist outs or other styles? If so, do you just refresh and you’re fine?
Great video.....my hair is currently in a stretched state(banding method) I actually wear it to work like this and everyone loves it. They think my curly ponytails are a style 😂😂 I'm like thanks.....but this weekend though 💃💃
Does your hair ever feel dry after you stretch it? Before I stretch it with dryer it's nice and shiny and moisturized and after its dry and the shine is gone. I use warm heat on the highest setting. Any ideas?
