Coz of no sales as per boss or company expectations...... Even though..... They know my sincere personnel character & my behavior towards company rules & regulations. I, never crossed my limits. It's been four years.... That I, got KICKED out of job in one of the TOP corporate company. I, am still JOBLESS. No one likes honesty these days in sales line... One should be a corrupt guy...... After a major surgery, i lost my IT job in Canada. At age 57, no would employ me and I was not fit to do labor jobs, though I was ready for it. For 4 years, i remained unemployed. I passed my time raising my grandson and using my laptop and RU-vid to learn new technology. After 4 years, an USA recruiter called me and offered a contract job with a big Energy company in NC. Next year got selected to a new multinational company. Now at age 66 , still working where I'm paid a handsome salary with benefits as a regular full time .

You are really an optimistic person _as somebody who do not belong to the Indian subcontinent but educated in India and in other places_and loves Indian culture and sanatan dharam_I suggest you always keep your good cheer (like you do now)!!

Good Morning Maj Gaurav. Myself and my wife like to listen to your talks. Your talks are honest and sincere right from your heart. Yes, you were destined to do something bigger than your earlier jobs. But surely your initial jobs after leaving army must have laid good foundation for you. More than that, person like you was required to speak for armed forces at national level. Hence we veterans are proud of you. I took premature retirement in the rank of Lt Col after 24.5 years service in army. Yet I was financially shaky in new life. But I had second inning in civil life of 16 years. You are doing well. Keep doing good work for nation. Best Wishes.

Even I struggled to get my first job. I got emotional once and prayed to shiva ling, ghar ke mandir me hi not any temple. And next day I got an offer and next day se hi job start ho Gaya mera. Kasam se I am shocked even today.

Dear Major, It is very sad to note that an Army officer finds it difficult to sustain a decent living after leaving the Army. Same is the case with Army Veterans all over the world. They sacrifice everything to defend their country and their political leaders abandon them once they are out of service. This sad state of affairs must change. Our veterans must find respectable positions in corporations backed by adequate training. Dear Major, I have a question for you. How old were you when you joined the army and when you retired from the army? You do not look more than 50. If in 1990 you were working as a Security Manager, did leave the army when you were 20. How young did you join the army? Please tell me a bit yourself. Your Dad was in BSF. Did he share any exciting events that happened during his times in the BSF? I hope you would not mind discussing some of these topics with us. Thank you!

Gaurav, I have a similar story after I left the army, prematurely. Wish I can share it with you on this site, one day. I'm presently in Australia but live close to NOIDA. maximum middle grade family had payments as 12000 to 20000,,sometimes about 8000 or below even.... but to educate our children was sole motto. Thanks Sir,, I was in my 85 to 95(1985 to 1995) in struggle period. The situation was exactly as you described❤

Even my first corporate experience started from wipro. Absolutely correct about wipro, there is nothing gray, it is either white or black. Yes and Wipro still has presence in Silk Board, Sarajapur and Electronic City. I was a part of Wipro from Dec'03 to Nov'06 in mumbai. Mumbai is my base city, currently working with different MNC, now my base office is in Bangalore. therefore, i could very well relate with your experience about corporate world. Thank you again Major Saab for your daily uploads, as it has become a ritual for me to have my morning cup of coffee with you. i have my black coffee and watch your video at the same time. I wish someday, we both can have coffee together. I know, its too much of an ask... but still 😅.
