Key to preventing fibrilation is a good stencil, the right ink(it should have mat good down properties), proper off contact, minimal strokes. You'll get smooth, buttery soft prints without any gimmicks needed when done properly

Try: 1) load the garment and flash - get that garment warmed up (to kind of hot) 2) while the garment is warm (or kind of hot), lay your first pass of white (first stroke is light, second stroke is hard) 3) then flash again then let it cool down, then hit it again with white (this time strokes are light) Note: Make sure that your stencil has the tightest tension - with that kind of artwork - use mesh 150 to 160.

I’m going to try this. Is the purpose of step 3 to cool down solely to prevent the garment being too hot and sticking to the upper side of the screen or is there some other reason? Also, for step 2 do you flood the screen or not at all for either pass? Do you use a push or pull stroke? I’m messing around with so many techniques but so far still chasing perfection.

Another great visual aid video. Fibrillation is the latest topic in the printing community even the seasoned printers are sharing the way they deal with fibrillation at their shops. Keep up the great work!!!

That natural for any print. The objective here was to eliminate it in the print.. And as you can tell that's what i did..

I only have a heat gun, so would this same process work if I don’t have a flash dryer yet ? After I do the first white undercoat cure it with the heat gun then iron it out with parchment paper then put another coat of white on top and cure it ? Do you think I should be fine or will I still get the fibers coming through ?
