In which I understand why you do prefer this preference but to be fair, the only undiluted Word is from Him himself, or from the scrolls themselves, but the Lord does not presume to be forceful towards our preference of the Word in its publication alone, but yet He will use what He knows, correlates with our own selves individually, as long as we receive the entirety, or it has not been continuously reimprovised to shaken the understanding and knowledge of what His message is to that of our own interpretation by way of intellect of what word we want to use to make it fit the way we want to fit it, which again, He himself let's you know and understand, and chooses to reveal by grace, not our interpretations but concerning the kjv, He knows this works for me when I am studying how He knows that I pay and take notice to great one word detail of things, so He uses this to help me receive another concept of understanding as to what was happening spiritually in the Word and not just what was happening with man in the world. Have your Journal with you to meditate day and night for if we meditate on his word weither it be the bible or Journal we are meditating on his word

I love the difference you made between reading the Bible and STUDYING the Bible. This is a HUGE difference. Since I have been studying slowing down revelation pours out from the heavens.
This is true I was asked if I wanted to come to the old church building for a Sunday school update on teachers but I wasn’t trying to be full time but teaches were needed so I volunteered it will be a year in December 2023. I study more now then ever it just doesn’t seem like I have enough time to get all of the information across, but today I prayed that God would slow me down and get all the glory.

I love your channel! I am newish to Christianity... meaning loosely calling myself one since forever ago without really ever becoming one. I am studying scripture now, trying to work in a daily devotional. I studied literature & writing way back in college & I really did not think about applying literary analysis to the Bible. I just so happened to stumble across your channel today and I'm so glad I did. I gave my heart to Christ when I was 19. However through the years I've allowed myself to lose focus. I'm about 35 years old now and for the most part, starting over on my spiritual journey. To say the least, I came to work this morning with a heavy heart: struggling to trust God with the details of my life and feeling defeated as a result. He's been so faithful to me in the past, why am I doubting Him now? However I've been listening to your videos as I'm working and they were just what I needed. I'm ready to dig deep in His Word. Thank you, so much Kim, for this I needed it as a guidance, to reading the Bible. Want to read it more, but didn't know exactly, where to start or how to learn all their is to learn in their. Keep putting it off and feel bad about it, and asked God please, be patient with me. I love the Lord but since my mom, had passed 6 yrs ago, I fell off with praying in general. Never really blamed God but I prayed, she wouldn't have Cancer and that's what she had, and only had 3 months to get used to , hey, I'm gonna leave you in 3 months, after a lifetime, with my mom. I'm 57 yrs old, she died at 73, dad died, when I was only 11. Had no kid's, siblings, no dad. My best girlfriend was the one who had Cancer 1st, she had 6-12 months, and had no idea, my mom was near death. We were close and together a lot. Lived with her after dad died, until the last 7 yrs of her life. I miss her so much lost about 6 people since then. So it's been rough. I never cursed God or anything, just was disappointed, that he took her from me. I know she didn't want to suffer, she always said that and God granted her that wish. Not but 3 months, and she was gone. I'm glad she's not suffering. Just in the natural she's all I had. Family since funeral, haven't heard from, didn't think they would be like that toward me, caught up in the world and material thing's and forgot , love your brother as yourself, that isn't going on these day's. Anyway, love your Study session's, and sorry haven't been on here as much as I should. God is 1st and this world is ending not beginning and I want to be on his side, and get closer to him, he's all I really have. Have 1 Real friend and 1 Real cousin, all other's lie and are to themselves. Your more a friend than they are, and I don't even know you like that. I admire your love of God and his word, and all those years, of studying are unbelievable. God bless, just want to say thank you, sis, for your help.

Your very well informed on knowledge of the bible and I pray that I may one day be as passionate as you are while going through my bible study. Hi Kim I have been struggling with studying the bible for a long time and not really understood it. I have tuning in on your tutorials, and it has help me a great deal. For the last 3 years I have been attending a Bible Study call BSF (Bible Study Fellowship) with a large group of wonderful women's, I have struggle with the assigned lessons. and been embarrassed that I could not joined in on the group discussion because I had not complete my assignment. We are on the book of Romans. God has blessed you in a special way to help many people. I have gone to several bible studies and it has not been broken down in away that I could understand it like you have. it has really helped me. Wow Kim!!! This Video was so on point for me..I really struggle with studying my bible. I have been praying for God to help me through this but somehow I always have distraction throughout the day therefore I am very inconsistent in achieving this goal. I was successful in January studying the book of Ruth of course because it is very short and I was doing in along with my church bible study group. I feel very encouraged tonight to start over and to keep pressing in God's word. God bless you my dear sister. I know this is off topic but I love your twist out. Rose, I'm praising God that you've been encouraged to keep pressing in studying your Bible...yes and amen! That #1 essential is key....to pray. Pray for the Lord to show you the best time to study and then to protect that time so it will be free of distraction. He will surely answer! Don't get discouraged if you have "off" days...just keep pressing...over time, you will see the difference it's making. Blessings to you, sis! This is great, thank you. The distractions or excuses are constant. I find myself losing and another week passes with barely any study....then another week. Then I feel lost in my flesh and thoughts.

Thank you so much for your helpful tips. I just started my Bible study a few months ago. I'm studying in order of the books, I'm almost done with the book of Leviticus. Along with my bible i also use a commentary book and what ever I read in the Bible I make sure I read the same in the commentary. I love studying my Bible it's like going on a journey. I get to meet the forefather's. Sometimes they surprise me, I was like "Judah it was your idea to sell Joseph, noooo". Sometimes they make me laugh, sometimes they make me cry. I think I'm learning to love the world more because I've learned that we are all related. God bless you all.

Hello Kim, Thank you for sharing this...I LOVE The Word of God, sincerely do. I will incorporate some of your essentials into my time with The Most High. I agree with a number of your points and see them as requirements: prayer and HOW to pray before studying, the NEED to read more than random verses, but rather studying by book and it's chapters ...The Word is built precept upon precept, YES..."Stop when stopped!"; that is such truth. The Holy Spirit will ALWAYS inform us "when"...be it 30 minutes or 3 hours...you ain't lying!!! Love the colored pencil idea...will use this w/ my highlighters. Bottom line, I love Him, THE Most High, The Christ, my Redeemer, THE Holiest Spirit and want to truly LEARN more of Him, so I can love Him better. I'm no holy roller, trust that, but I KNOW how to use my Sword...I whet It and wield It...this is so real...it's a requirement for daily living, loving and fighting. One love Sistren....Shalom.

He came to give us life and give it abundantly. But many of us dont understand the Gospel. I enjoyed study the Northern and Southern Kingdom. Thank you for mentioning context for some people can take things out of context. One point my teacher told us is that to use pencil in the bible because the color ones can fade after while. this was truly a blessing. I tried inductive Bible study with Moody church here in Chicago but didn't get it (no fault of the church I was doing it online). However the way you shared your method supplied it for me I'm going to start implementing this way of study. Thank you.

I read God's Word daily and I pray first. God's Word has become so much an inspiration and has healed my mind, body, spirit and heart. The word of God has opened up new understanding and the Bible really comes to life to me as a manifestation in my life and my daily walk with the Lord. The bible says, "study to show (shew) yourself approved. B.I.B.L.E. means basic instructions before leaving earth. We need the Word of God as a compass of direction.

thank u Kim u know when God seat u down today God spoke to me I do read the bible but this WK I decided that I want to HV a more intimate relation with God so I checked some videos but I kept skipping urs on how to study the bible until today when I clicked on ue video about the power of keeping quiet I had a note book n when u finished now is when u know is God I clicked the one on how to study the bible n when u started pointing out the point I felt at home I enjoyed it n to my surprise before opening ue channel I had opened my Bible abruptly to john 14 I read it to verse 14 but I had marked it before but I had nor marked verse 14 n I did that after I had finish I was shocked to hear u saying that this is ur power verse u made my night thanx u n b blessed that God
